I used to bring my car in here for all of my basic maintenance. They’ve always done good, honest work at decent prices. However, it really disappoints me that they can refer their customers to the dumpster fire known as AAMCO Transmissions in good conscience. I took my car to AAMCO because I trusted Auto Whiz’ recommendation and it turned out to be a complete disaster full of lies and shoddy work. I won’t be returning because of this.
It really is a shame because, like I said, they do good work at decent prices, but they should know better than to refer people to such a disreputable place.

I was in Birmingham for work and I realized I had major brake issues. I didn’t want to chance breaking down on the highway so I went into Auto Whiz. They diagnosed my issue (needed new brakes & a wheel bearing) and had me back on the road in three hours. The price was fair and the customers were friendly. Two thumbs way, way up!

I needed a flat tire repaired and an oil change. I called early on a Friday morning and they said I could bring it right in no appointment needed. The price was very reasonable and the convenience was great. Staff was friendly and informative. They had all the work done in less than 20 minutes. Flat tire and still on time for work! Thank you guys!

I’ve been having my car service here for years and have had a consistently wonderful experience. For example, I brought my car to a different auto shop when I was out of town and they gave me a long list of work that needed to be done. I came back to Auto Whiz and gave them the list and they informed me that only ONE of the things the other auto shop recommended actually needed to be addressed. They could have very easily lied to me — like the other auto shop — but they didn’t! This place is great; you can trust them with your car.
Also, the waiting room is pretty nice — and there’s free wi-fi — for those of you who will be waiting while your car is being serviced.
