Interesting park for sure. It’s cool in that it’s completely surrounded by homes, but that’s what makes it seem exclusive(in a bad way) too. I don’t live in the area, but wanted to find the closest playground. There is no official parking lot/area that I found, so I assume you park on the street and walk b/t houses at a few designated spots. There is a nice, level playing field area, a huge green space, a 15+ yr old playground, walking track, and picnic tables. The equipment is definitely showing it’s age with fading, rusting, cracks, etc. Everything is still pretty functional, but the sun appears to have baked off the slipperiness of the spiral slide. A huge bonus was some kind neighbor left 2 hand towels on the equipment in order to dry off the slides after the rain the day before. The slides would have been unusable(or pretty wet!) otherwise.(This is a City of B’ham park.)
