This place is literally 30 seconds from where I live, so we checked it out before going to the pool one Saturday afternoon. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, but was definitely pleasantly surprised! Free chips & salsa are always a plus, especially when the salsa tastes as fresh as it did, with the right amount of kick. It reminded me of my favorite mexican food place in Texas. Margs during happy hour are only $ 2.50, or you can get a large for $ 4.50. The large really are quite large, and they tasted great– not like a cheap margarita. The service was quick & our waiter was really attentive and made sure to check in often to see if there was anything we needed, and the food was good! They also have a bar you can sit at if you just want to pop in for an affordable drink. Check it out if you’re around the area.

This food is average at best, I had lunch here and while it wasn’t terrible it wasn’t all that good either, As other reviewers have mentioned, this place is a lot like all the other Mexican places in Birmingham.

There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in town. Pretty much one on every corner. It’s pretty hard to distinguish one from the other. This one is a pretty typical venture. I went during lunch and it was pretty busy so that was a good sign that people frequent the place. I had their lunch special which they called the«Super Burrito.» It was pretty much just a huge burrito that filled up the whole plate. It is filled with your choice of beef or chicken, then rice and beans. Their rice and beans where very good and the beef was seasoned nicely. I have no complaints about this place but don’t expect some huge culinary revelation or anything. The food was good, the service was good, and the price was good. For a quick lunch hard to complain about that.

I have eaten here a couple of times for lunch. The food was only ok. It is very tame from a spice perspective. Salsa has no kick.
