Pros: our server(Quita) was pleasant and efficient, especially for being the only server there and having a number of tables. The food was also cooked properly and promptly. Cons: this location desperately needs funds from corporate office! The bathrooms could not only use some fresh paint, but the previous paint job looks like it was completed by a ten year old. Some tears in the booth seats along with broken springs. Both sides of the main doors looked like they hadn’t been painted or washed since the Clinton administration. This restaurant absolutely needs some renovations at once!

Great service. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The order was correct and she remembered to ask me about my coffee that I wanted after they brought my meal. The food was good.

Everything needed remodeling in this place from chairs to the replacements of the ceiling tiles. Ended up ordering a blackberry French toast with scramble eggs, ham, and hash browns. My meal came out least then five minutes after placing my order. Other than adding salt and pepper to my scramble eggs and hash browns, everything tasted great but I would prefer my meal to be hot and not lukewarm. Checking out, I guess you’ll have to wait for a cashier to ring you up. Anybody could just walk out without having to pay since there wasn’t any host present.

It is a Thursday morning and my husband, three-year-old and I get there at about 10. There was a sizable crowd, but nothing too bad. We were seated quickly enough, but the waitress was very brisk and acted like she really didn’t want to take our order. A couple who came in 15 minutes after we did just sat down and was not only treated like royalty by the wait staff, they got their food well before we did and all we asked for were pancakes and coffee. I did ask to substitute my hashbrowns for grits, but it still took thirty minutes. The waitress didn’t write down our order and got it completely wrong. We ate it anyway and the food was slightly cold. Not the best one in the chain.

I went to pick up a buddy of mine at a the airport at 10 pm on a Sunday and we were both hungry and saw this IHOP on the way home. Checked it out and had a good not great experience. Our waiter was hard working and did a good job with some of his difficult guests. The food came out hot and well prepared. I had the 3 egg bacon breakfast and it was a consistent ihop meal, nothing really WOW about it. The bacon was cooked really well and was crispy, but not dry(I consider myself a bacon expert! Haha). My buddy had the French toast that wasn’t flat as it sometimes comes out as, but not as fluffy as you would like, which I think comes from old bread. Lay only real complaint is that the floors were really dirty and there were numerous tables with dirty dishes on them. Again, everyone was friendly but because of the the time and day of the week, they may have let there standards settle a little.

Our most recent visit to this location was on a Saturday, for lunch, and it was very busy. We were greeted by a friendly hostess, and promptly seen by our waitress. While crowded, the service was really good! Our drinks were kept full, and the food came out in good time. I had the bananas foster brioche french toast, which was surprisingly tasty! I love that you can order breakfast all day, and that the carafe of coffee sits on the table with you(since I drink quite a bit of it!) I always forget that this location is open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday… so it could be a good late night eat as well!

We went to have breakfasts yesterday, it was unpleasant experience. The service is great, the food is great but the cleanest of the restaurant is minus. The menus so sticky, table sticky, and restaurants have funny smell. I would gave 5 stars if they pay attention the cleanest more details

I love the IHOP chain. Their menu selections and food is awesome. BUT, this particular location is the bottom of the bottom! Their service was so bad, I don’t know where to start. When we sat down at our table, we noticed there was a «Sticky syrup residue» on the table. It took our waitress ten minutes to finally take our drink order. Fifteen minutes after she took our food order, our waitress came to ask us to clarify one item of our order(I’m guessing that she had not even turned our order in yet). It was one hour from order until our food arrived at the table. Wow!!! During the wait of our food, the waitress never came by to refill our drinks, check on us or update us on our order. While I was in line at the register to pay my bill, I heard two other parties complain about the service. My advice is to stay away from this location!!!

Worst service ever. We ate at this iHop earlier today and waited 20 minutes before we ordered, then another 20 minutes before being served. The restaurant was less than ½ full and adequately staffed. We also had to endure the man in the booth next to us talk the entire time on his cell phone and not with an «inside» voice. There should be a rule about cell phone use in restaurants. We will not be back to this iHop.

We were a group of three. After nearly 10 minutes of waiting, drink orders were taken by a server who questioned my choice of drink, then asked if that was the only drink I wanted, while continuing to wipe her running nose on her sleeve. I will say she asked if we knew about a similar drink they were doing a promotion on and she brought some out for us to try. The watermelon and blueberry lemonade splashers were not bad at all! We then waited another 20 – 30 minutes for food, while being asked twice by the one acting as hostess if everything was OK. The last time, one of us mentioned he’d like a refill, since no one had been by to check on us during the time frame we’d been waiting, except for her. Nothing was brought back to the table for another 10 minutes. This was when the server reappeared, asking our opinions of the drinks she brought for us to try, while letting us know the food was almost ready(One order-chicken fingers and waffles, another order-a fried chicken sandwich with onion rings. The third order was a country fried steak with pancakes, hash browns and scrambled eggs). This would’ve been about 45 minutes after ordering. She walked away, and returned with refills for 2 of the 3 of us, and again notified us that the food was almost done. About 5 minutes later, she returned with the chicken fingers, and country fried steak, and said the sandwich plate was coming, along with the pancakes for the steak order. Everything looked as if it had been sitting at least 5 – 10 minutes. The pat of butter on the waffles wasn’t even melting. The gravy on the steak had already started to thicken back up and solidify. The breading on both the chicken and steak should’ve come with warnings that teeth might break when eating. By this point, we were all ready to leave and the sandwich plate hadn’t been brought out yet. When it arrived with the pancakes for the other order,(butter on those melted almost instantly, compared to the waffles) the onion rings appeared to be a little overdone, but the sandwich looked fine. After managing to eat what we could, a request was made for a to go cup for one of the drinks, as well as a to go box. The server came back by two more times checking on us without bringing a box or cup. The next time she returned, she remembered the box, and said she was going to go make a fresh drink instead of just bringing a cup(and she did). Then came time to pay. There was already a customer waiting on a to go order. While we were going to pay, we told the cashier that we wanted to split up the ticket. While she was splitting the ticket, the other customer’s order was brought out, and the cashier stopped what she was doing with us, tried to put together the customer’s order, found something was wrong with the order and muttered something about this thing happening all day, and walked off to get the order fixed, with us still standing there waiting to pay her. The other customer mentioned that this location was never this unorganized and said she’d been told they were under new management and needed to go back to the way things were being run. The cashier returned, bagged up the order, then went to split our check, and got so confused, she had to move all other tickets off of the counter so she could just look at ours to split it. After splitting it and finding the second ticket that she lost, she asked if the other people in my group had paid for theirs yet. Since the tickets had just been split, the obvious answer would’ve been«no». We paid, and walked out, certain that we’d most likely never return. **We obviously weren’t the only ones with a long wait either, as a table nearby had two very loud boys playing who continuously had to be hushed by someone else at their table, only to get increasingly louder the longer they were waiting for their own orders(and these folks had been there longer than we had!).

The only reason they are getting two stars is because my meal was actually good(and sadly the only fresh one brought to the table). I was with two other people. We went in around noon, which might have been our first mistake. It was very crowded and loud and even before we experienced the awful service, it looked like the staff was somewhat frantic. We were seated and waited around 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Finally the waitress comes over and sighs heavily, like she was irritated that we were there and asks what we want to drink while sniffling and wiping her nose with her hand. We gave our orders and she suggested one of the new drinks and told us she would bring some out for us to try(despite the fact that the three of us had already ordered our drinks). We waited another 10 minutes for the drinks to come out. When she came back she took our orders — I asked what the soup of the day was and she said she didn’t know. I just ordered another side instead of waiting for her to go ask. Unfortunately I don’t think that helped, because when she left, the real wait began. One of the party sat without anything to drink for at least 20 minutes out of the(at least) 30 minutes that we waited for food. During that time our waitress came by once(just before the food came out). Someone working around the hostess station came by and asked how we were doing and the person without any soda said he needed a refill. She walked off and started doing something else. Finally the waitress came back by and brought him more soda. We continued to wait and finally part of the food came out. The two who got their food weren’t happy as the food didn’t look fresh at all. The country fried steak looked like a country fried brick with mortar on top instead of gravy. It was gross. The chicken fingers that the other person got looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp. My food didn’t arrive until a few minutes after the other two. I got a chicken sandwich and onion rings. My onion rings(all seven of them — and they are the small ones) were glistening and hot, so they were fresh. The chicken sandwich seemed fresh as well. My meal was the only one that was really any good. After we ate, the waitress finally came back by and I asked for a box and a drink to go. It took forever to get the box, then she said she was going to make the drink — which also took forever. Finally we get the check and everything else and go to the front counter to pay. The cashier seemed more frantic and frustrated than everyone else. She started splitting our checks and someone brought up some food for a to-go order. Instead of finishing our checks, she started messing with the food, which apparently wasn’t right. She took it and went to the back, leaving us waiting(again) at the register. The woman who was waiting commented that she’d never seen the service so awful and that they had a new manager. I’m not sure that was the whole of the problem, but it’s not surprising. The cashier finally came back and got her order bagged and then went back to our tickets and got completely confused. She had tickets everywhere and seemed like she was ready to throw her hands up. Finally she got our tickets situated and we paid and left. Total time in the restaurant — About an hour and 15 minutes. A whole 10 – 15 minutes of it was spent eating. Bad/slow service, bad food for 2 out of 3 of us. Definitely will NOT visit this iHop again.

Everytime I’ve come to this location the service has been terrible. Last time we went when the waitress finally came over to us after waiting for 30min she took our drink orders as well as everyone else in the section by yelling across the restaurant. Waited for our food for about an hour and a half. We never got a water refill either. They need to get more staff or just train their staff in actually working. Very disappointed.

Solid service. Tonya did a great job taking care of us. Food was delish. Had the blueberry pancake breakfast. Eggs are hit and miss. First time the eggs were perfect over easy. Went back… they were under cooked. There are other breakfast spots that are better, but this is inexpensive with a carafe of coffee on the table. We will go back.

The food was typical IHOP fair and was really good. The family and I were enjoying ourselves until I looked down and saw a huge cockroach crawling across the floor. Totally ruined the dining experience.

Slow, nice, decent. That about sums it up. Don’t go if you have a short lunch break and are starving. Otherwise, it’s standard IHOP goodness. Be advised, their omelets have pancake batter in them unless you«just say no». Also, they’re bigger than your head. Sheesh. It’s hard to order anything not fried, but it’s possible. I just order what I want on the side and refuse the pancakes.

It was always my nearby breakfast spot but I just sat in there for 30 min and still didn’t get approached by a server. PEACE! IMOUT! Headed to Logan’s!

I went here twice during my stay in Alabama and both times the service was impeccable. The breakfast was okay… not spectacular but not falling short of expectations either. What made the dining experience worth repeating was service that was not only efficient but that truly seemed genuine. My first time i was served by a lady named Amber. She was very down-to-earth and her demeanor was pleasant. My second time I was served by a man named Brian. He was also down-to-earth yet also jovial and made friendly small talk. Both employees had an extremely pleasant demeanor, provided service efficiently, and most notably, were genuine and not superficial. Given that twice the service was well beyond expectation I must say that either IHOP as a whole, or that specific restaurant, has an excellent training program and/or is scrupulous in hiring quality employees. People who read my reviews know how seriously I am about good service and about sincerity. Good service however does not merely consist of carrying out duties in perfunctory manner. Good service involves showing positive character and sincere concern. On both occasions the latter traits were apparent hence my review.
