Very good! The atmosphere is cozy and college-friendly. Fair prices for Mexican food and the quesadilla was pretty authentic. The lime margarita is strong but not too strong and one of the best I’ve had in town.

Standard mexican fare in a colorful, although kind of dark restaurant Came here for lunch and was promptly seated. All the servers are super nice and move with a purpose. Was brought a basket of chips which came out warm and were delicious and some pretty plain salsa that may have not had any jalapeño in it at all, which was disappointing. I’m vegetarian and was pleased to see a vegetarian section with 5 or so options. Got the spinach enchiladas which were decent but salty for me. Came with refried beans, seasoned rice, and a side plate of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream. This dish also could have used some spice. Portions are large, particularly for lunch, so this is a good place for volume but the quality was fairly standard.

Yum! Solid if standard tex mex! The food is good, the service is good, it’s vegetarian friendly and the beans aren’t cooked with fat :-) great downtown Mexican!

Bama-Mex doesn’t have anything on Tex-Mex. This is a decent Mexican restaurant albeit over-priced.

Business travelers beware! No American Express. Had a terrible time getting a detailed receipt to expense. Will not return. Food was ok. Rice was not hot. Flautas were good. Chips were outstanding.

Typical tex-mex joint. Food was average but probably tasted above average since I was starving. I ordered the 3-item combo and chose: Beef Taco, Chicken Enchilada, and Chile Relleno. Again, the food was pretty average. Price was pretty reasonable. Total came to be $ 10.81 after taxes. The complimentary chips and salsa was okay. The chips were nice and warm but the salsa tasted like it came from a jar(or a tub).

I frequent this strip mall eatery on a fairly regular basis. The food is good with some notable differences in service techniques from other establishments. First off, they place is run by authentic Hispanics. Sometimes there’s a bit of a language barrier, but they seem to be getting better at English as time goes by. Chips are standards, but good. The salsa is really good and each diner get’s their own! No sharing here! I always ask for their hot salsa which is nothing more than a crush chile paste I think, but it perks up their already tastey cilantro laced salsa to exuberant heights. The fare is pretty standard. The fajita quesadilla is tasty and filling. I love their refried beans — they’re so smooth, almost like a dip. In fact, sometimes I scoop them up on chips. Rice is okay, nothing special. Tacos are just right, not too greasy. I wish the taco salad came with more substance. It always feels a little skimpy to me. The shredded enchiladas are toothsome which I like — a sign of fresh corn tortillas IMO. Burrito’s are large and satisfying. My only true complaint is that I wish they offered a soup menu. I love black bean soup and tortilla soup, especially on cold, blustery days.
