Very excited!!! I got to eat at Los Rancheros today… I was extremely pleased with the total over all experience. I will go ahead and tell you guys the bummer, I had the same dish as last time because it was amazing;) So the bum part being I have not got any new menu selections for you:(I am updating my post to raise the score and say my waiter was fantastic! I asked why he is not there all the time and was informed he owns another restaurant in the Sumiton area… So maybe try out that location if your in that part of town…

I love their service, and food. Their food tastes really good for Mexican food, and it’s rare to find good Mexican food that is not super Americanized. It’s great and prices are great too

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in years!
Very pleasantly surprised to find such a good place on our trip back from Mississippi heading to the Birmingham airport!
if we lived in Birmingham I would go out of my way to visit this restaurant over others!

The staff was very friendly and the food was good. They had nice combinations on the menu and with lunch specials at $ 5.95 it was excellent choice while traveling. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated.

Has great drink specials. Staff is great. Menu takes usual Mexican outside of the box. Nothing extravagant but not just your beans/​rice.

First I must say that, I am not a Mexican food lover. I have eaten Mexican alot because my husband is Mexican and loves the food. I generally walk out of a Mexican restaurant and say «it was good but not my thing». I must say though that this restaurant was absolutely delicious! I loved the food! I couldn’t believe how good it was especially since its located in Forestdale! We have gone back twice (at my request!!) and each time the food was delicious! Laid back atmosphere, good food, great price– def would recommend this place :)!
