Had pizza from here twice. The first time was terrible, very dry and overcooked. Yesterday I ordered from here and it was great. Place seems hit or miss.

First, Primo’s is the best pizza in Birmingham. That’s is indisputable. Second, for the reviews saying«it’s a little on the pricey side» — relax, it’s a pizza, so it’s $ 2.00 more than the alternative — go get a hot and ready if you want something simple and cheap. The pizza at Primo’s is always on point. I typically get the ultra thin crust with pepperoni and mushrooms and feel extremely satisfied after. The sauce is great, the dough is well-made and the various ingredients we get are as expected. The staff inside is always very cool too — they’re typically busy on a later night but get you in and out without being rude and make sure you have everything you need.

Went there to get a pizza to go. Large size, 3 toppings. $ 26. XL size would be over a $ 30. I paid, then realized I could get me the best Rib eye steak for that money. It tasted nothing better than a $ 5 Little Caesar’s pizza. What a rip-off. Never again.

I had delivered their specialty thin crust and was the worst $ 26 I’ve ever spent. Delivered not hot, no flavor, crust was soggy. This is not the place to go unless you like your pizza like it was served in the high school cafeteria.

Just got a delivery order from Primo’s. The pizza was good, but we ordered Rum Raisin Ice-cream. They sent a pint that had a best by date of November 2015??? We only realized this after tasting it. Looked at the bottom of the carton and realized why it tasted spoiled. We called to complain and spoke to a very unfriendly and rude man who insisted that we bring it back to them. Very poor customer service. Makes you wonder what else they are serving that is expired???

There are not a lot of delivery choices in the area but Primos is good! Their salads are tasty. And if you ask for thin crust pizza you get a great pizza without so much crust so it is all about the toppings.

I was extremely disappointed in the customer service that I received, or better yet did not receive in the wine shop today. I was prepared to purchase 4 bottles of champagne, but I took my business elsewhere. If you can’t acknowledge my presence, inquire as to whether I need assistance, and be dismissive of what I do inquire about, I won’t spend my money here. Do better!

Gave Primos pizza a try rather then grabbing Jets. It’s a little on the pricier side but would still order again. I don’t think it was as great as Jets pizza though. They do stay open until late which makes a good late night snack!

I had a late night pizza craving so, I looked up places that were open late at night. Primo’s came up as an option. I’m a huge fan of square pizzas so, I was really excited to have some. The pizza itself wasn’t that great. The cheese and sauce weren’t very flavorful and I also had Italian sausage on but it was flavorful. The only thing that I really liked was the crispiness of the crust. It was also very expensive for 6 slices that I was getting. I don’t think I’ll be returning again.

I’m confused by people’s preferences, especially growing up in the area where my peers worship this pizza like its the mother of all pies(I’ll pray for my understanding). I always felt their dollar slice deal was the main reason to go when I was in high school, and that’s pretty much it. But since that is no longer an option, I have no use for this establishment. Overly salty, minimal sauce, and a tough cardboard-like crust. After working in pizzerias before, it seems as if they prep their deep dish pepperoni pizzas and let them sit for hours, cooking them when demand hits. I have fights with my friends about primos but I really just can’t say I am a fan, especially with their ridiculous prices. For a sloppy deep dish pizza, I would suggest Perry’s Pizza in Clawson or just a classic Buddy’s Deep dish less than 2 miles from Primos down Woodward.

Extremely rude. Sullen, unhelpful staff. I called the other day to order and the guy said, «I don’t know what you’re talking about.» I repeated and he just mumbled. Overall the food has massively more sodium than any other pizza shop. Almost inedible. Way more expensive than any other pizza shop.

OK so I tried this dump again because it is close — ordered cheeseburger«delux» Got a burger — burned on the outside — raw in the middle — 2 pickle slices — couldn’t find the onions with a magnifying glass — bun burned to a crisp — 8 onion rings and a VERYSMALL portion of the samo coleslaw that everyone serves. WHAT A WASTEANDRIPFORTENDOLLARS and also they need to hire someone to take orders who knows WTF they are doing — after 40+ years I AMDONEWITHTHISPLACE

Had pepperoni pizza to go for $ 2/slice and it was a bit greasy, but it’s ok. Sometimes grease can cure a bad day, and I had a pretty rough Friday. The pizza slice didn’t WOW me in any way but one slice was surprisingly filling. I could only eat 1 ½ slices. Pizza There was more cheese than sauce and in fact, it reminded me a lot of little caesars with a jets pizza style cut. I did appreciate the dough. It wasn’t too crispy or chewy. It was just right, but again it was saturated with grease, so I had to dab it a few times with a paper towel. The pizza was tasty and did its job. :)

Great thin crust pizza and a very tasty meatball sub. Fast, courteous. Yeah maybe they’re sites not mobile friendly. Who cares ! Call em get food, it’s that easy. Oh and if you’re ordering fish n chips from a pizza, sub, convenience store, then I don’t know what to tell ya.

Primo’s Pizza is tucked away on a quiet part of Adams road, with a small parking lot in front. It boasts really tasty pizza and a full array of convenience store items, including a hefty selection of beers and wines. If you’re in the area for lunch and are spontaneously craving a slice of pizza, Primo’s is the place to stop at. They have ready cheese or pepperoni slices, usually corner pieces, circulating in a mini heated carousel. They’re also open late, and are willing to deliver to nearby locations. All in all, the beer selection, the quality of the pizza, and the customer service have led this place to remain a staple in Birmingham.

Doesn’t deserve even 1 star. The customer service is disgusting! We had coupons on our phone they wouldn’t let us use, it’s 2015. Poor poor poor customer service!

Three words: Fresh, Corner, Slice. Side car Faygo Rock & Rye(Red Pop also acceptable). Surprisingly, reading some of the previous reviews, Primo’s isn’t for everyone. There’s only one way to know which side you’re on, get a hot corner slice. Full pies are also tasty. If you’re not into the deep crust, hit up a round.

Better option than the chains but there are better choices out there. Especially for the price. $ 32 for a large three topping pizza and an order of wings. Not for us again.

Having reviewed this place almost a year ago and now with a few more visits under my belt I feel fair in saying that the pizza just isn’t as good as it was a year earlier. The pizza I had last night was underdone leaving the pepperoni par cooked and the pie itself had hardly any sauce on it, which is a bummer because their sauce is one of my favorites. The cheesy bread was very cheesy but again underdone. I did really like their chicken strips but they didn’t pack my dipping sauce with them. All that said if I were to order here in future I’d be checking my order and asking for extra sauce and well done pies.
