Love hungry howies, but this location is awful. Takes over an hour for delivery and when I call in, they hang up on me. Very unhappy as i ordered so it would be here for my lunch break, but now i cant eat on my break.

I’m sure every hungry Howie’s is supposed to be the same but this place always has the best pizza ever. I like the butter cheese crust. And they always seem to put extra butter and cheese on it which is fine by me. Location is clean and simple. I don’t mind that there’s no dine in option.

We used to happily and regularly buy pizza at this Hungry Howie’s location. The pizza, while not gourmet quality, was pretty decent. But no longer. We order one of our pizzas without cheese for health/tolerance issues. Like many pizza joints, since cheese is the most expensive item on a pizza, they would happily substitute a topping. Seemed like a win-win solution. BUT all of a sudden they refused to substitute. We will be changing to one of the many local competitors in the future.

There are several pizza chains around us but we tend to prefer Cottage Inn or Buddy’s but with a coupon for a free pizza we thought we’d try Hungry Howie’s. If the pizza was not free, we would have returned it. It was cold, the sauce tasted of tin and though the crust was good(we got the butter cheese crust) it was if there was more cheese on it to cover up the lack of taste or quality in the ingredients. We also got the bread sticks — which were ok but the dipping sauce that went with them was terrible. After a small taste we didn’t try it again because we were afraid it might have gone bad. We will not be returning to Hungry Howie’s — free coupon or not.

Mmmm I miss Hungry Howies. This location was walking distance from my apartment so I would stop by after work or if I just had a taste for it. I had a taste for it a lot. My favorite? Pizza with mushrooms and black olives. Cajun garlic crust please. Oh heaven! Plus they always have special offers like $ 5 pizza. Or Steak, Cheese and Mushroom Baked Sub. This sub is basically thick sub/pita baked and filled with steak, cheese and mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and Italian dressing on the side, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Service was always wonderful. This place rocks!
