Terrible service and saw cockroaches crawling on the floor and bathrooms were disgusting.

Rogue tavern is by far one of my favorite brunch places. The only reason it took me so long to go was because their webpage says they aren’t open on Sundays. Don’t be fooled! They’re open, have bottomless mimosas, and have fantastic food. They’re the first brunch place that I’ve found in Birmingham that has the combo of good food and mimosas. Their service is also fantastic and it’s a really cool atmosphere. They have an outdoor back patio for the sunny days and a nice indoor area for the rainy days. They also have make your own Bloody Mary’s if that’s your thing.

The food was great but service was terrible. On top of the TVs being so loud we couldn’t carry on a conversation, the wait staff is either poorly trained or they didn’t give a darn.

We had our mind set on Mexican tonight, but there was a major wait for a party of 5(and a baby). We were all starving and as we were walking back to our car we smelled something really good. It was rouge tavern. Didn’t know what to expect, but really glad we we stopped. The service was very friendly, they went out of their way to make sure we had a baby chair. They had a private engagement later that night, but didn’t make us feel rushed. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations! Was awesome!

Average place, average food, bad service… nothing more to say but that I won’t be coming back anytime soon. Perhaps it is a good place to have a beer and watch football, but for food, deserves 2 stars.

I went there on a Friday night with my friends and we sat ourselves as we were told. It took 25 minutes for them to take our drink order. After that we did not see our server again so we decided to put cash down and go somewhere else. It was a cool atmosphere, I just wish the employees were better.

The food here is delicious but the atmosphere is lacking. It gets very noisy and there doesn’t seem to be a very good organization to the wait staff when it gets busy.

Wow this is an awesome place. After moving from California have not found at least a descent Martini. But having found Rouge we have found an awesome Martini and we highly recommend the pimento sliders. Please come and enjoy!!!

Rogue Tavern has been one of our go to places for quite a while now. You seat yourself wherever you like, which can become a problem when the place is really crowded and people end up waiting on tables that they must find for themselves. Other than that, the service has always been great! We enjoy sitting in the courtyard out back when the weather is nice. The happy hour here is great, and drinks are cheaper than I have seen most anywhere else even outside of happy hour! I have really liked all of the burgers that I have tried, and the quesadillas are also quite tasty. I am sure that we will be here again soon!

Pretty good food. I was looking for a place downtown that served«steak» near the bars(but not Texas de Brazil) and after perusing the Unilocal decided to try Rogue for dinner. It was really crowded and loud when we got there, with no seats available inside. So we had to sit outside on the patio in the smoking section. I absolutely HATE smoke so this was a burden to deal with. Lucikly, the only smoker there left after we sat down. There were only 3 open tables. The rest were pushed together by one massive group. And then they took one of the 3 remaining tables so all that was left was ours and 1 more… so really there was no place for a smoker to sit. WHEW. I always like to try moscow mules in various bars and in various states, in various degrees on nice restaurants. So far the most upscale places I’ve dined have made the worst moscow mules. The Rogue Tavern MM was okay. It isn’t as good as the 41st Pub(which uses Fever Tree ginger beer) but it’s 2nd best to those I’ve tried. I had the pot roast and it was really good. Just like you’d make at home in the crock pot. The potatoes were a little underwhelming but as a whole the dinner was delicious! We did have a few smokers come out but what can you expect… that is the designated area… :\ My mother was visiting in town and was the one to request the«steak» restaurant. She ordered the ribeye and seemed pretty pleased with her meal as well. I’ve never sought out a bar to eat dinner in, and it turned out to be a fine experience. I think mostly because we were outside away from all the loudness. And the food was actually good! :)

Great draft beer selection, fun atmosphere. Food selection is great. Trivia on Monday nights. Recommend grabbing the hot wings!

Amazing food(especially the spinach artichoke dip with peta bread and homemade chips) and great drinks. It’s never too crowded, and they even have live music sometimes!

I went by here on a Wednesday night, and curiously had the whole place to myself. Food was OK, their beer menu was also OK — just the typical local stuff and some others. Service was great at the bar, but again I was the only person there.

House red was excellent l. I went in looking for the fried oysters, but they were out. Turns out that was a blessing because I will be dreaming about these crab cakes for years! Service was excellent and atmosphere was friendly and rocking. Staff were professional and quick. I wish I lived here, just so I could come back every weekend.

My friends and I roamed in one random Friday night and boy did we have fun. We sat ourselves over on the elevated platform to the right and our waiter was very nice and funny. He came by at the right times to refill our water and with the bill etc. Great food as well. The hummus sampler is fantastic. I got the spinach salad with goat cheese and sherry vinaigrette. I wasn’t planning on eating everything but it was so good i couldn’t stop eating it. I came here once before and there were about 4 – 5 goat cheese balls on the salad, which was way too much. This time there were 3 and they were a little bit smaller and so the portion was much better this time. I was happy with their beer selection as well. The trim tab pillar to post was exactly what I was looking for. We had a great time.

Good beer and trivia on a Monday albeit hard. The wings are sad – the dry skinny type. Now let’s get to the good stuff. On a Thirsday(spelled correctly) the music is enjoyable and if you ask the courteous and realistic Taylor she will tell you where this joint shines on the menu. Lasagna as a special, fried chicken and best of all, and I can vouch, the burgers and sweet potato fries are on point!!!

I love this place. The service is always great, the food is delicious(especially the loaded fries) and drinks are good and inexpensive. The only complaint that I have is several times I have gone with friends and they were closed for a «private event». This was during normal business hours… I have not been in a couple of weeks because i do not want to drive there and the place be closed.

Food is decent and not too pricey. Happy hour is great. Always have good service. Can be crowded and noisy at times, but super fun to watch a Bama game.

Great spot to pop in for a post-work beer. Some decent parking available on the street if you’re lucky. Local beers on tap available and at an amaze price — their happy hour special was a cheap three bucks. There’s food, but I have no idea about that. Free wifi also? Wow!
