Roly Poly – Southside Birmingham

Very cozy environment to enjoy a delicious toasted wrap. I had the Santa fe chicken which was great. I’ve never had a bad experience at any location.

Daughter and I ate here for lunch today. Delicious as always. Never had a disappointing sandwich in all the years we’ve eaten here. Toasted sandwiches are always hot; ingredients are always fresh. Staff always seem to be laid back but quick and efficient. The atmosphere is a lot like a dive bar — and yet it still manages to seem cozy. We continue to love the Roly Poly experience.

I don’t often go in to Roly Poly, but I have been eating their wraps, etc. for years. I am chronically ill, so I frequently order in. I am a bit disturbed today, because today, all of a sudden, I was told I would have to order a minimum of $ 25.00. I have never had to order a minimum until today. Again, I have been living in the same place and ordering from here for over five years. The staffer did inform me of the minimum today and asked if it was okay with it. I was not okay with it, but I was hungry and fatigued (so no cooking). Since so few places in my area deliver, I okayed the order, but still feel some kind of way about finding out today about this $ 25 minimum policy. At any rate, the delivery has always worked out well for me. They inform me of the approximate delivery time; and usually arrive during that time. The wraps are good. I am a vegetarian, so I especially like the spinach based wrap with cornbread in it. So southern. And, tasty. They took it off the menu and just put it back on yesterday. So, I am pleased about this. The fajita wrap is a good choice as well. Unlike other places, they offer wheat wraps. Roly Poly is a good option for getting in the daily dose of vegetables and the sauces are good. The menu is flexible and there are lots and lots of ingredients on the menu. To me, this is a much better «sandwich» place than Jimmy John’s. The people on the phone could be a little friendlier, but my order has never been wrong. The prices reflect the serving size and hey!- they deliver.

Roly poly is always on point. So much to choose from and everything is so good… I really love the enchilada soup. Nice people and perfect lunch. We order it at work for everyone all the time

When I want a fast tasty sandwich-​like meal I think of Rolly Polly. Unique combination of ingredients in their wraps! Such an extensive menu to choose from and all of them can also be put in a wheat wrap… which is a plus to me. My all time favorite is the Pesto Chicken and Hickory Cristo. The negative is they get soggy very quick, applies especially when being delivered.

Good place to grab a sandwich/​wrap. I thoroughly enjoyed the oriental chicken wrap. Nice healthy combination of greens and a light helping of dressing.
