I’ve used this pharmacy for probably about ten years now. They’ve always been super reliable and helpful. Unfortunately, in the past year or so, they hired some pharmacy employees that aren’t very good at their job and one who is quite rude. A few months ago, I brought in a prescription to get refilled. It usually takes about 5 – 10 minutes, even though they tell you 15 minutes, so I decided to stay and wait for it. I gave them a coupon I had for the prescription. Thirty minutes pass and still no prescription. They told me it’d be just a few more minutes. Another 30 minutes pass, still no prescription. Apparently the girl I gave my prescription and coupon to had put in the computer that my prescription had already been refilled, when it hadn’t. So they had to get in touch with my insurance and tell them what happened. It was a holiday, so the insurance place was closed. I’d have to come back the next day. While I was sitting there for an hour, there were barely any customers, and the girl I gave my stuff to and another girl were goofing off the whole time, not even trying to fix their mistake. They let me sit there for an hour before telling me what happened. And they weren’t even the ones who told me. A guy that was in the back came out and told me. I called the next day and my medicine still wasn’t ready. In fact, it took an entire week for them to call my insurance and explain a simple mistake. When I came back for my medicine a week later, they hadn’t even called my insurance yet. They called when I showed up. So it took another 45 minutes to finally get my medicine. While I was waiting in the drive thru line, the girl(a different one) was not only extremely rude to me about THEIR mistake, but was extremely rude to an elderly woman who was picking up her prescription. And for no reason at all. This particular employee has been rude to me several times before and always has a horrible attitude and acts like her job is torture. Oh and they never used my coupon. So I had to pay full price. I will most likely continue to use this pharmacy, but it’s really disappointing how much their customer service has declined. A week to get my prescription. A WEEK. Good thing it wasn’t something that I was in dire need of. I’d hate for them to do that to someone who needs their medicine immediately.
