Nice coffee house & coworking space for climbers with the best coffee in town, try the cappucino to get authentic European quality coffee drink.
Great bakery items, love the pumpkin spice muffin.
They also have — drumroll — Sierra Nevada Kellerweiss Bavarian Style Wheat Beer from tap.
Awesome — this gets them the coveted 5th star which I release rarely.
And if you can’t handle caffeine go try the hot milk sheep drink with cardamon. Delightful.

In house brews were tasty, in particular the dirty chai. Since it was so good, we got a bag of beans for home. They turned out to be really bad; over roasted, no oils left. They were bone dry and powdery when ground, no matter what grind size. Almost tasted stale.
Also, the staff was less than cordial. Will not go back.

Good coffee. The customer service is 80% good, there are 2 employees that seem to despise the customers and are as un-​friendly as they come, but the rest of the employees and owner are really friendly. For some reason whenever I get my coffee and the 2 employees that shouldn’t be working in a customer service job are working there are grounds in the drip coffee, but never when the other employees are working.. . so I guess I get a little more for my money on those days.
Hopefully the owner will figure out that people aren’t paying $ 2 just for coffee.. .that I can just as easily make at home or work.. .for a lot less money. I have more than once decided to do just that when I see certain employees working.. .

They were sold out of all the food items, but instead of just saying «we’re sold out of all food items» they waited until we tried to order each item, then said they were sold out of that item. One. By. One. Very odd.
Maybe there’s a locals only vibe here, maybe it just felt like there was since the service was so weird.

Love, love, love! We come through bishop about once a month and Black Sheep is a must stop for us! Coffee is AMAZING! Organic, Fair trade and high quality. Great selection of drinks and if it’s ‘late enough’ you can get a beer or coffee. Or both! Food is good and the people, including local customers make the joint all the more entertaining and fun! If u like local flavor, great coffee and good beer then what are you waiting for!!! You won’t regret it.
