Great night sleep. Very quiet and relaxing with a spacious room. The chain in general has treated me very well. The staff here is very helpful, especially when I needed directions to a store or recommendations for dinner. The location is right next to several convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. At this location, they have a decent space to catch a meal in well as a great spread included in their morning breakfast. It also has a large pool, an outdoor basketball court, and a bbq sitting area where socials are held. Lastly, it hosts a snack store open late for any midnight munchies. I really enjoyed my stay here.

This hotel was great! Friendly service both at check in and at breakfast. The room was clean, new, and had separate living and sleeping areas. Breakfast selections were typical but good.

We had stayed two nights at the Residence Inn in Pittsburgh during our 2014 road trip, and given that was the best hotel experience we had on the trip(five minutes from last pitch at PNC Park to our bedroom — that is hard to beat), we decided to seek out any such franchises for our 2015 trip. Surprisingly, it wasn’t until our seventh night that we were able to accomplish this. But it was well worth the wait. After our rather unremarkable trips from Sioux Falls which included long runs on I-29 and I-94, we staggered into Bismarck at about 3PM on a hot, muggy Thursday afternoon. The cashier made us feel welcome, gave us detailed instructions on how to get to our room and how to log on to the internet, as well as giving us the highlights of what the hotel had to offer, which, as we’ve come to expect from Residence Inn, was plenty. After hitting the town, which in our case consisted of visiting the Dakota Zoo and having dinner at the Blarney Stone, we returned at about 7:30PM. Storms were a-brewing so we decided to call it a night… at first, as it turned out. I checked out the pool/hot tub area, noting the availability of the hotel’s high-powered washer and dryer. So I decided to take care of a load of laundry while de-stressing in the well-regulated water area. I heard some booms, looked outside, and sure enough this area of North Dakota was experiencing some good olé thunder-and-lightning. The Residence Inn, while it easily took care of laundry, had no issues whatsoever withstanding the weather. As it turned out, the storm let up a little bit after 9, long enough for us to sneak out to the nearby Olive Garden for dessert. In the morning, I took a very quick walk down State Street to I-94 and back. When I returned, proudly wearing my San Francisco Giants gear, one of the hotel’s employees engaged me in a productive conversation about the goods and bads of Major League Baseball. That was followed by a well-stocked breakfast, making my wife and I fulfilled for the day’s trip into Montana.

Very reasonably priced. Fast check in. Free parking. Very clean and spacious for 2 adults and a newborn. The fuller sized kitchenette was great. The shower was pretty good. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Room stays nice and dark at night. Temperature easy to control. Definitely would come back here.
