Cool niche shop, nice staff, has live music events. Café with records in it? Can’t beat that. Selection isn’t large if you are used to going to standalone record shops, but it was just right for this setting. Also alot of vintage audio gear.

I went in for Record Store Day 2015. Well Rhythm Records and Café was not a participant. Being the only record store in Bismarck one would hope they would have. I over heard a conversation with someone who came for the same thing. They were told they store just didn’t do it this time. But they would for the one held towards Christmas time. As for the rest of the store. it really wasn’t what I look for in a record shop. Small selection, not much for higher end stuff. At least they are trying well sort of trying! Now its off to ebay to try and get the records I missed out on for Record store day.

Rhythm Records is a great place to hang out, listen to and browse through a pretty rad and diverse music collection.

Cool Staff, Great Location. I like to go here especially during Open Mic Night, because the music and location make it unique and friendly. Now all i need is a record Player. Would be nice if he added urban harvest booth with some best-sellers.

If you don’t count all of the countless rummage sales where you can find every polka album ever released, there are two record stores in Bismarck right now. I found this one to be quite nice. The used selection is well organized by artist, the new vinyl on another wall, and some sort through it milk crate cheap albums on the floor. They repair your old phonograph player and sell vintage ones as well. I bought an O’Jays album. I asked a hipster question to an employee and got a hipster response.

I stumbled upon this sweet record shop and café looking for a cup of coffee. What a find– vintage records, great music, lounge area and even a cup of coffee. They also have a little stage for in-store bands and open mic nights. Nice. I’m new to Bismarck and glad to find it!
