Rockin’ 50s Cafe

Not a bad place for some beers and bar food like sweet potato fries and Knoephla soup but other than that it’s pretty mundane. Also had nice screens to watch whatever sports games were on and good prices on draft beers.

Took my kids to lunch here, good atmosphere, people were friendly but the food wasn’t very good other than the soup. Fries had a different taste to them, the ribs were un edible, chewy, tasted old and way too much BBQ sauce. The nachos were completely covered in lettuce and chips had been sitting out and were a little stale. We left with a ton of left overs but ended up leaving them in the garbage since none of us wanted to eat anymore of what we got. Definitely need to work on the quality of food!

Decided to grab dinner here since we were staying a night in Bismarck. We are glad we did. My son really enjoyed the popcorn they brought when we first sat down! We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! The staff was very friendly as well! If we ever drive through Bismarck again we will definitely be stopping here!

Great restaurant! They have friendly help and I love the ambiance. Their milkshakes are incredible!

Not so rockin.
The servers are INCREDIBLY friendly. The food is so-​so. And the prices are, well, you get what you pay for. It’s not going to make you sick but it’ll make you think twice about coming back.
Unless you’re over 80 and you have no taste buds and you’re used to the sound your stomach makes when you eat here.
The rooms are noisy and there are two sides to the ages hump all around you (under 15 and over 75) So it’s a good mix and a great place to feed the whole family on the cheap. Just not on the healthy. A lot of the menu is fried or covered in fat.
But again, great service, my cup was never close to empty and we felt like we made a friend in the waiter :-)

Friendly atmosphere, great staff, good food and good times. Done in the spirit of a 50’s diner, I’ll be back.
