The servers are great but the product is weak. The chewy steak paired well with the burned lobster«tail»…honestly I think it may have been a crawfish. I just wish I would’ve been warned at the door. Stick to the salad bar if you decide to go.

Went to Canyon Casino & waited ten minutes to get seated, fifteen minutes sitting without anyone coming to wait on us, so we left & went to Lucille Malones at the Gilpin where we were seated promptly & treated like they wanted us there. Salad bar was amazingly good & our sandwiches were pretty darn yummy. Want food or service, skip sucky Canyon & go anywhere else…

I finally got a chance to check out Lucille Malone’s on a recent trip to Black Hawk, utilizing a coupon I had for a free dinner special. I was seated and served quickly, and went with a chicken sandwich and fries. The cajun-type spices added a really good zing. Everything was great. Definitely recommended as an awesome place to stop if you get burned out on the mainstream buffet fare.

Had an excellent hamburger and green chili fries… You don’t just happen to be in Black Hawk(I was here for work this week) but if you do find yourself here, try Lucille Malone’s.

I have been coming here for the past few years. Over that time, there has been a steady decline in food quality… It sad to see what was once a great restaurant with awesome food go downhill. There are much better places to dine in black hawk!

Came to Black Hawk for a quick stop on our way to Avon. Went to Gilpin’s to play the slots and went upstairs for a quick bite. Very unassuming atmosphere but very nice staff. The food was surprisingly good. The brisket sandwich was excellent and the shrimp platter was overflowing with very tasty shrimp. Would definitely come back on our next trip back.
