Easy off I-​85 and easy back on. From the time I leave I-​85 until the time I’m back on, it takes under 4 minutes. The gas station is right at an exit ramp and diagonally across from the on ramp.
I regularly drive from upstate SC to the Charlotte airport and this is the best place to stop, since it’s almost right at the NC/​SC border and it’s quick and priced as well as anywhere else. It’s not luxurious but who cares-it’s a gas station.
Use your debit card and save about 10 cents per gallon off the posted price– very inexpensive!

Grover, NC
This place charges an extra .05 cents/​gallon when using debit or credit. Outrageous.
The driving area is full of potholes. Go to another place. Don’t pay for the privilege of using credit or debit.

Chapel Hill, NC
This was a standard gas station found not too far from the Gafney Outlets in South Carolina. I stopped here on the way back to Charlotte for the ridiculously low SC prices. True, the huge travel centers have slightly cheaper gas, but I believe that you get what you pay for. BP all day errday.
