I love Starbucks. I study by myself a lot, and this is a good place for me to get some coffee with some refills. The baristas are very nice and always make a point to check in and see how I’m doing. They’re very patient since I’m a former partner and have very picky tastes. A few have even remembered my drinks. It’s sometimes hard to snag a table, but there’s always been a place to sit whenever I’ve come in. Can be chilly, so bundle up.

I tend to visit a lot of Starbuckses while traveling since they are consistent and the gold card perks are great. I’m not sure why there have been so many negative reviews of this location — it is a little chilly as some reviews have pointed out but the staff is friendly and the drinks have been fast and accurate!

It’s a Starbucks, so you know what to expect when you go in. The parking situation is a little iffy (park out back in a too-small lot or in the nearby parking garage) but I guess not every Starbucks needs to come with a drive-thru.
The staff seems to change fairly regularly so I don’t expect my barista to know my order like in the other towns I frequent but they make it just right all the time. No complaints at all, just no extra points for awesomeness either.

This is the worst Starbucks in Blacksburg. I would rather go to the Starbucks in Barnes and Nobles!!! They have a «new» manager who feels he has to regulate how much milk you use at the bar… if you use too much he will tell his employees to charge you at the register!!! I wrote to corporate today about it!!! The employees are OK, but do not particularly listen to what you order, parking lot is horrible– people race through like it is the indy-500!

It’s decent. Can’t really knock this place as it was such a staple when I was there in college. I was served with smiling faces and my coffee was hot! Awesome!

Bad promotion. On the door it reads with picture, «tall Pikes Place Roast $ 1.50» That’s great but they stop brewing it at 12 noon. What the… This isn’t the first time they have done this. I’m about done with this over priced coffee Mecca! Bad management!
