Not a bad location, but I used to like them much better. When I first moved to Blacksburg, this Subway location had kiosks for ordering. When you came in, you simply punched in your order, paid, and then grabbed your sandwich when your number was called. They have since removed the kiosks, which I believe has slowed the service down. This only applies when there’s actually a rush and a crowd forms(usually between classes, later in the afternoon). The staff has always been friendly and the food is good. It’s nothing special, but your typical Subway sandwiches. The seating area is nice and spacious, and it’s a good place to retreat to on a chilly day. All in all, it’s a good choice for lunch when you’re in the mood for a quick sandwich.
