Food is so so although my son and wife enjoy the food. i had a four egg white omlete with onions and ham. the onions were barely cooked and everything fell out of the omelet. the waffle i had a taste of from my wife was ok. the waitress was polite and curtious.

Terrible service at this location. EVERYFUCKINGTIME. I am a sucker for their greasy overpriced food, but If I keep dining here I will have a goddamn stroke from how angry the lack of service makes me. It seems like they all take their goddamn smoke break at the same goddamn time, leaving the place empty. And by smoke break, I mean 5 smoke breaks every goddamn hour. Also do they need to smoke right in front of the goddamn door? Nothing like walking through a cloud of smoke to get into a restaurant.

No menu options, food was tasteless and service was non-existent. too pricey for the diarrhea I experienced one hour later

Honestly I was hesitant to come here to dine. My first time was at the new Christiansburg location. I was disappointed. I ordered triple hashbrowns covered & country. Let me tell you after my first bite I was in love! The server was fast & friendly. My food came quickly & was hot. Not bad for a Saturday night at 8:30PM.

I save 1 stars for the worst of the worst. But this place is pretty terrible. The food sucks and its dirty. How can a new Waffle House be so disgusting? The service was great but management really needs to step it up in just about everything else.

Casa de Waffa in Bleaksburg is similar to Casas elsewhere. If you want yo know how one Casa differs from other Casas, watch the cook. A finely tuned Casa cook operates like a well-oiled machine, deftly multitasking while ensuring everything is cooked the way you want it. My typical order, two eggs sunny side up, grits and raisin toast, is a test of the cook, waitress’s listening comprehension and of the gritsatudinosity. This Casa passed with flying colors. Sunny side eggs were perfect, not too runny, not too cooked. Raisin toast was delivered with apple butter, and grits were perfectly cooked and not runny. Beats the snot out of Gillies for breakfast.

My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday morning around noon so there was a bit of a wait but not more than 15 – 20. Our orders were taken pretty promptly and the food arrived not long after ordering. I got chocolate chip waffles, grits, cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuit, and orange juice. One of the most delicious meals, especially breakfast, I’ve had in a long time. My boyfriend got the bacon and steak sandwich melt with grits and loaded hash brown and he agrees that it was superb. Definitely going to make it our regular breakfast place :) Oh, and the manager, Jim, really makes or breaks the place when they’re busy. He usually ends up taking over most of the server’s jobs and should probably be paid more!

The food was so-so and fine for two friends who thought they might have a leisurely breakfast, but it was cut short. After sitting for about an hour and a half, we starting getting hints that we should leave… we were told they have a two hour limit. That seems unreasonable considering the restaurant was far from full. Feeling unwelcome, we left and I for one will never return

Waffle House! They have waffles and they’re in a house. Well, not really a house but you know, a place that’s supposed to feel home-like but is actually a diner. I’m always disappointed by the waffles at Waffle House but I absolutely love their omelettes! If you order the right things(cheddar and ham omelette, for example) you’ll have a good time. Their biscuits and gravy are pretty tasty too. The service here is roughly average. They were going through some growing pains for a while and seem to have narrowed down their employees to the people who actually know what they’re doing, so they have that going for them. If you’ve never been to a Waffle House, give it a try so you can say you’ve been. If you’ve gone to one and are craving it? Go and get your cravings satisfied. Otherwise, there are plenty of other delicious places in the Blacksburg area that would probably satisfy your hunger better.

This place is new and it needs work. Not up to our usual consistent WH experience. The cooks spent most of their time talking about who they drank with the night before and one of them did not know any of the dishes that were more than eggs and bacon. The servers were great. One lady spent most of her time telling the cooks how to make the more ‘complicated’ dishes. People were getting their sides 10 – 15 mins after their eggs. Never had this happen at a WH before to me.

Waffles were sub par for a waffle place. They had an odd nearly gritty texture and undercooked. The fruit add in likely was not fruit in any way, just red 40 and hfcs. It was worth a shot for the diner experience in Blacksburg, save this for being hung over, an intoxicated body may think its ok.
