I walked in, approached the cash register, and asked whether I could get a small salad instead of fries. He said«So Substitutes!» and get this… walked away! I waited for a while, thinking there must be something going on, some emergency I couldn’t see, but when he peered around the corner from the back room, he was glaring at me. So, thoroughly creeped out, I left and went to Chipotle. I cannot speak to their food.

They make a decent gyro. They put buffalo sauce on the«spicy» gyro, which is kind of odd but tasted okay. Worth a visit if it fits your craving.

I went to Big Byte for a late lunch(around 3pm) and there was no other customers inside. In fact, the cashier was talking to someone on his cell phone. He put her on hold(hold on babe, I have a customer) to ring me up. He was full of charm and flirted with me between talking to his girlfriend and taking my order. He got the order wrong. I just wasn’t impressed with the service My gyro was Meh. I really have experienced better elsewhere. I’m not a fan. I’d go here for a really cheap gyro and if I really wanted to make it a meal get some fries with the seasoned salt and a drink. Also, the spicy gyro has buffalo sauce. I love spicy food but buffalo sauce doesn’t scream Greek or Mediterranean to me… which is what this little spot is supposed to be.

Poor service. It took over 15 minutes to get two gyros and they did not get the order right. The fries were cold and the gyros were just ok. This seems to be a tough location for restaurants to make it, so I am surprised at how bad an experience this was so soon after opening.

A simple and tasty gyro with seasoned fries. A great little dinner
