Dairy Queen

Recently renovated location looks great and very clean. The service is quick and courteous. It’s a great place to stop when passing through Blanco.

The help is simi-​curtious. But, the place is very clean and has a real restaurant atmosphere. Exactly the opposite of the Johnson City DQ. As far as the Blanco DQ, 2 stars for friendliness and 5 stars for cleanliness and appearance.

Horrible service. We waited at the drive through for several minutes without an answer. We finally drove to the window and tell the lady that the speaker was broken. Her answer? «Well, sometimes it works, sometimes it don’t!». No apologies, just a matter of fact. Then we ask for a Buster Bar blizzard, something of a special order, but something we’ve been given in the past. This time, the lady says «Sorry, we’re not allowed to alter our listed blizzards». Whatever, so we just get a snickers blizzard. A few bites in and I realize that is completely hollow in the middle. I’m not going back to be hit with even worse service, so I’m calling this a lesson learned This is the second horrible experience we’ve had here. We’re done with the Johnson City Dairy Queen, thank you!
