Worst dinner at BW tonight. Every food item was cold, returned and brought back barely warm. So disappointed. We have always has good food. My husband loves the ribs but not tonight and there is a whole 5 tables. Probably won’t come back again.

Excellent service and great food. Our group had smoked wings, .38 special, 12 gauge, Buffalo chicken sandwich & the grilled chicken jack sandwich. Fried cheesecake for dessert hit the spot.

Delicious… It happened to be all you can eat Rib Nite. Wednesday***- and although we were late,(they close at)9 we were offered the special… and my friend did just that! The staff were very accomodating, thinking about closing early on a rainy, gloomy evening– we arrived late to an empty restaurant, and had a FANTASTIC meal. I enjoyed the brisket… maybe a bit dry…, mashed potatoes and beans, all generous portions an Yay! I’m a fan. d stole a few of my buddies ribs-, and they were fall off the bone amazing. The sweet potato fries were as good as they get, maybe the best Ive had in Buffalo– crunchy, crispy… and tender in the middle Do yourself a favor and order some sweet cornmuffins with your meal It was fun to experiment with a nice variety of homemade sauces. The baked beans were smokey and meaty, and the mac and cheese moist and cheesy! The menu is extensive and creative, offering seafood and many sandwich items, as well as mixed meat platters, and a nice selection for children. The Sunday breakfast menu looks good, and we will probably check that out VERY soon I cant wait to take friends back! I just wish they were open later, theres a nicely stocked bar, great list of craft beers, lots of room for a good time. *** Wednesday Is Rib nite from 4 – 8, and reservations are requested

We ordered some ribs and chicken a couple years ago for a summer picnic. It was pretty good but we didn’t really think it was worth it so we haven’t done it since. We liked Dinosaur BBQ better. This would include the French fries. B&W’s would get a C+ and Dinosaur gets an A!

Sunday is the best at BW’s. Brunch from 10am — 2pm. Chicken, Ribs, Omelets, sausage, bacon, salad bar. Everything was great! I want to go back every Sunday. Great Chicken.

I love this place and I will be back. I could simply leave this review there but I’ll elaborate. Get the ribs! I could even leave review there but… you get the point. I’ve never had ribs so tender that your teeth start to slide into the bones. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly covered in thick sauce. If you live anywhere north of Buffalo this place is a bit of a drive but definitely worth the trip.

Their food is good but frustrating when we went in on Sunday and only had a choice for buffet and not anything from the menu so we left very disappointed

Have been here many times before and the menu continues to change for the better. Great selection of sandwiches and classic bbq entrees. They have a good selection of house bbq sauces. Everything is smoked and cooked on premises and the quality is solid. Only a couple of beers on tap, but they have a growing collection of bottled craft beer.

Just started coming to BW’s this year and I don’t know what took me so long. I’ve had the brisket, chicken, and ribs. It’s delicious every time. Service is fast and friendly. Limited beers on tap but they feature a full bar. I suggest going on Wednesdays for all you can eat ribs!

Always great food and terrific wait staff. If you haven’t been to BWs you are missing out. Excellent Bbq and more. Fish fry comes with 3 sides ! Try the broiled fish too. Comfortable, friendly, great place to watch a Sabres game with great priced game specials. Good music in the bar that has lots of big screens. The people that work there are always pleasant and fun.

Delicious barbecue. Very satisfying ribs and side dishes. Really enjoyed the place and was suprised how dead it was on a sunday night. Highly recommended for barbecue fans.

This is that BBQ joint you will travel long distances for. The décor is like an indoor summer picnic with friends and family. The chicken and ribs smoked so much it makes Snoop jealous. Amp up the tender, flavorful meat with a tool box full of sauces. My favorite is the habanero BBQ. Try the smoked mozzarella sticks too, great comfort food!

LOVE this place. When you eat in, you get more food than you could ever ask for. They give you a selection of sauces. Their sweet potato fries are AMAZING. The only downside is that if you order to-go, they’re very skimpy. That was a pretty big disappointment, actually– on several occasions my boyfriend and I ordered $ 50 worth of food to-go and didn’t get enough to eat. Totally opposite if you eat inside.

We’ve consistently had really good food here in 6 visits over the last two years. I’d give it another star but stuff like the heavily worn seat upholstery and grungy carpeting really need some attention. Also the mirrored windows at their entrance really feel wrong for someplace that doesn’t have dancing girls inside. Go for the food not the décor.

We went here a few months back and it was great! We ordered pork tips as an appetizer and the serving was big enough to be an entrée. He got a combo platter which he loved and I got the pulled pork. I can say that living in the south for the last nearly decade has given me quite the taste for a good BBQ and this fits the bill. I like that they have several sauces to choose from. I wish I could remember the names of them, but there’s really something for everyone! The portions are very large and the sides are delicious as well. Good service too. No complaints. They have a bar area but we did not order drinks.

Catering review: Outstanding! I called BW’s a couple of months ahead of time to cater a party. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone and didn’t ask for a mandatory credit card or downpayment to hold my spot. You can order off the catering menu two ways: by ordering vats of sides/food or ordering plates per person(plates come with silverware, main dish and choice of 2 sides plus a roll). I chose the plate option because I didn’t want to risk running out of food. I also chose the option whereby BW’s comes to your location, sets up shop, smokes and grills their delicious meats for 2 hours(as guests salivate and anticipate), serves the food, then packs it up for you to enjoy later, cleans up and leaves. The cost for grilling-at-your-party is an extra $ 300, which is a lot of money yes, but honestly I felt like it was worth it. The guy who came out was so hardworking and professional — and he showed up an hour earlier than anticipated to set up! It was a hot day and he worked tirelessly by himself and prepared an amazing meal. I chose the ¼ rib, ¼ chicken platter with two sides for $ 10.80 per person. It was an ENORMOUS amount of food. Totally awesome, tender, fall-off-the-bone meat with a wonderful smoky flavor and not too much sweet bbq sauce. Our guests loved the food, but more importantly, it was just such a great experience. Very low-key, we could all sit around and socialize instead of stress out, and their were tons of leftovers for people to take home at the end. If you’re looking for a company to cater a special occasion in a fun, low-key way, I’d hit up BW’s in a heartbeat.

Went here years ago & remember it being quite good. Have had their BBQ since, at the fair or catering, and it was decent. I have to say, we were pretty disappointed this time around. Service was not great — our waitress seemed annoyed, or just very tired & bored. We were given rolls, which were basically Tops sweet dinner rolls out of a bag — blergh. I overheard another table request corn muffins — they were told they got too expensive to give everyone, but they sell them 2 for $ 1 — I wish we had been offered, because I would have paid for them. Ordered the poppers(Taste of B-Lo award-winning: jalapenos stuffed with sausage, cream cheese & wrapped in bacon.) We got 4 tiny(you can easily eat each in 1 bite) peppers in a basket, with grease pooling on them. They actually tasted very good, but the presentation was off-putting, and to get such a small serving for almost $ 7 was annoying. Hubby had the pulled pork, with garlic mashed & potato salad — he thought it was fine, but not spectacular. I had the smoked ¼ chicken with sweet potato fries & baked beans — the sides were good(love honey butter on sweet fries; could have done with more than the ½ oz cup they gave me though.) I thought the chicken was a bit dry(it was breast/wing — this was not noted on the menu, nor was I offered leg/thigh so I have no clue if that’s an option or not.) I had to keep adding sauce — both the«chicken sauce(kinda like Chiavetta’s) and honey BBQ were OK. Kid had mac & cheese — it was«real» so she didn’t love it, but my husband & I did! Not thrilled. Was hoping for better since it’s close to home.

Dropping BW’s to two stars… The last few times I have visited things have been sub par… Cole Slaw tasted old or something once… Baked beans loaded with pork… Last time I was there the Habanero bbq sauce had a bad taste to it,… BUTTHEBIGNEGATIVE: is they no longer carry the good beef brisket they once had… The stuff they use now is an inferior meat… Tastes bad to bland, and is full of fat… No more nice sized portions of lean beef brisket… I couldn’t even finish my brisket last time I was there… Just did not care for it at all… Sorry but I am done with BW’s Barbeque.

Service 4 stars. Food 3. The mac & chesse is lacking flavor. Chicken with the rub is really good. The ribs are good. I dont think that I would take drive out here again though. I prefer Brickyard Pub, Kentucky Gregs and Suzy Q’s better.

Went tonight with my dinner partner and we both got the BBQ sampler platter($ 18) which consisted of pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and chicken. I made it through the pulled pork and side of mac ‘n cheese(yum!) before crying«uncle». My companion is no stranger to food and he made it through the brisket and chicken before stalling out as well. These were large portion sizes. His only observation was that the brisket might be better on a sandwich because it was a little difficult to eat as it kept falling apart. That’s a good thing though, right? lol The service was good. The waitress brought drinks without us having to flag her down, which gets her extra points from me. We initially ordered drinks from the bar while waiting for our table and they didn’t have the ability to «transfer» the order to our table ticket, but the bartender was very accommodating and instead of starting a tab or making us pay separately, she simply told the hostess to have our waitress see her for the bar total. It seems like a small thing, but I appreciated them not making a hassle out of it as they could have. Good customer service. I was a little worried about having to take home the meat since it comes dry and you choose your sauce at the table — which means no sauce at home. Not to worry! Our fabulous waitress anticipated this and brought us plenty of take-home sauce containers so we could take home some of each for our midnight snacking. As we were leaving, I noticed the sign stating that they carry the NFL Sunday Ticket. Hmmmm BBQ and football. I think we will definitely be back to sample that!

I wish to preface this review by saying I am not a fan of barbeque. Hubby had been whining about trying this place so last night we got take out. He had the chicken and rib combo and he swears the bbq was delightful. Among the better he’s had. I elected to get some sides and they were at best, so so. Onion soup. Very oniony but a bit sweeter than I’ve had elsewhere. A huge ball of mozzerella was floating in the middle. Overall it was decent. On to the baked potato which, oddly enough, came with some fries. Anyone who uses potatoes on a regular basis know that there are basically two kinds, mealy and waxy. Mealy spuds are used for baking and mashing while their waxy cousins are used for salads. Waxies hold their shape after cooking. My baked potato($ 2.50) was a huge all purpose wax job. Very difficult to fluff with a fork. I ended up tossing most of it as it was really unappealling. Noodle salad was well, noodles and mayo. I could taste no discernable onion or seasoning. Very bland. Tasted very much like the no flavor salad that comes with the fish fry at Pappas’.The baked beans were ok. Not too much can be done to harm canned beans. Fries were the frozen fat boy variety. Will I go back? Not willingly. Hubby will and he’s welcome to do a solo dinner. If you love barbeque and can deal with mediocre sides this is the place for you. If you are a bbq abstainer, be prepared not to be wowed.
