Calico Corners has been my family’s «go to» place for fabric and home decorating since I was a little girl. Like mother, like daughter! I have loved every custom drapery, bedding item and piece of furniture that I have bought from Calico over the years!
I have found the salespeople to be consistently knowledgeable and on top of their game when making suggestions and recommendations to me.
The quality of the workmanship is unparalleled.
If you want to have beautiful rooms, without the additional cost of expensive designers, I heartily encourage you to try Calico Corners!
I can’t figure out why they don’t advertise more because it is a store that people should know about.

I don’t know how this business has remained open all these years with the unacceptable attitudes of its employees. My MacBook is very respectful, as are the limitless home dec suppliers available on the Web who are willing and able to accommodate my every need. Rude snobs have no place in retail or anywhere else.

Oh brother, where do I start. I bought custom blinds. First of all, if you’re expecting a receipt for your order that explains everything, forget about it. They still use bursted paper from the 80s. There is no description of the product on the order form, just codes with a price at the end. You have to give ½ down. My experience was awful. I was given a book with the selections for blinds. The salesperson gave me an old book where some of the colors I wanted were not available. So I went back to the store and selected a new color scheme. Of course, the price went up – and they already had $ 700 of mine, which the order form you sign stipulates that you cannot change your mind. What a waste of time. Had to go back and forth and spend at least an hour each time. I recommend that you go to
. If you know someone who can measure the blinds and install, I would go that route. It’s half the cost. Plus, the samples from
come to you in the mail. No incompetent sales staff.

Extremely rude and condescending staff. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They treated my family with disrespect even though we were spending THOUSANDS of dollars on blinds.

Used them several times throughout the last several years — NEVER AGAIN! One story after another about why your order is delayed (way beyond the promised date) — «our scheduler only works Tues» (but I placed the order over 1.5 mos. ago — why do I care about your scheduler?). .. then the store manager gets snippy when you point out that they’ve made multiple promises they haven’t delivered on. I don’t mind a missed deadline — unforseen events come up — just let me know and give me a reasonably solid (w/​in a few days one way or the other) delivery date, and be a LITTLE contrite. But multiple missed delivery dates, and confusion w/​their upholsterer because their order documentation was apparently confusing. .. it’s one ‘story’ after another with this store re. why you don’t get what was promised. Any conscientious business owner would remove the store manager (‘Julie’) if there was any real interest in customer service — she & the store just don’t get it. Do yourself a favor — don’t darken their door.
