My visits to this Leo’s are purely take out. I stop in on my lunch break and rarely call ahead. I usually grab 1 – 3 orders for my coworkers, along with mine, and place them when I get here. Surprisingly, they do a GREAT job! They get everything correct and the girls who take the orders call them over to the chef’s through the kitchen. They make sure that every add-on or substitution is said several times, so that nothing is missed. They always get the food fast even if there’s a more complicated order. The only thing I don’t care for at this location is the area you come to get the take out. It’s all the way in the back by the kitchen, so if you come during lunch it’s really busy with workers and patrons. Sometimes you get stuck waiting in someone’s face who is eating. Not really uncomfortable for you if you’re leaving, but I imagine the person eating get annoyed. There should be a seated area you can eat or a wall you can at least lean against. Overall, yes it’s busy but who cares. It’s good.

Leo’s… You are one of the things I love about visiting my home town. You were born just a couple of years before me, and you’ve now got over 50 locations. That’s what I call impressive growth! I’m waiting for the day that you expand outside of Michigan and only hope that you’ll come to Arizona. In the meantime, there’s nowhere else I find an incredible Greek Salad with pita bread that tastes like your’s… perfectly balanced with crunchy fresh lettuce, just the right amount of feta, tomatoes, cucumbers, pepperoncini, olives, beets, garbanzos, and onion. Your famous Greek dressing is the perfect consistency and adds a flavor that I crave. When not in the mood for your Greek Salad, I love that you have anything and everything else one could ever want… from omelettes at breakfast time, Coney Specials and fries for late night or when the urge strikes, sandwiches, desserts, etc… I love the casual environment of your restaurants, the friendly staff, and of course the moderate prices. I don’t get to enjoy you often, but you’re typically the first stop I make when I get back to Michigan, and now that you sell your dressing by the bottle, I do get to pour that familiar flavor on my salads, which is the next best thing.(For those that don’t know, you can no order Leo’s Famous Greek Salad Dressing online!) Keep up the quality food, consistent service, and community giving, Leo’s… I’ll see you on my next visit to Michigan or when you expand to AZ. whichever comes first!

Food is good but whoever the girl is that answered the phone and gave me the carry out was texting the whole time I was trying to ask for napkins. I asked if there was plastic wear and napkins and she picks up her phone and starts texting and I was like is there any??? And before she answered she had to finish her text and then gave me it without even looking up. It was 5 pm on a Wednesday not even busy to have to wait that long so she could finish using her phone Worst service I ever had how rude and unprofessional if she was my worker she would be fired a long time ago

I have never been treated so poorly. Came here with my family after a movie. Sunday evening. 845. We were told to seat ourselves. The server took our order. All normal so far until 5 minutes later when we were told the restaurant closed at 9 and we either had to leave or take our food to go. Unbelievable! Why were we allowed in the door in the first place? Will never come here again. The food is mediocre at best anyway. Just easy and close to home but never again!

Me and my friends come here all the time after school! Definitely my favorite. It may not be super fancy but it is fantastic. Service is quick, and food is good! That’s the way all restaurants should be. Thank goodness for Leo’s!

Leo’s is a basic Coney Island with a large menu with lots of selections. The lemon rice soup is as good as any place around. The Greek chicken salad is large and fresh. However the chicken can be a bit dry and over cooked. Good place for a quick in and out meal.

If I get a choice, the last thing I ever eat will be Detroit Coney dogs. While they won’t necessarily be from Leo’s, I wouldn’t mind if they were. The Bloomfield Hills location is big, bright, and busy. Fear not, though, because the staff is experienced. You’ll get your food quick. The Coney dogs are as they should be. The typical Detroit recipe. If you’re a native you know what I’m talking about. Kabobs, Greek salads, and all the other usuals are offered. This location is right around the corner from Bloomfield Hills CC, so you can get the best of both worlds if you’re a lucky golfer.

Just a simple Coney Island. Nothing fancy or spectacular. We stop here when we are in Bloomfield Hills for a family trip every 2 or 3 months. The Coneys and fries are good with a side Greek salad, they aren’t GREAT but it is good enough for a typical Detroit Metro Coney Island Diner Service is always a little weird, they seem distracted and you don’t know if you should pay at the back register or the front one, seems to be know rhyme or reason to it, they just open the register they like most that day… It’s a little frustrating

Breakfast is the only meal I typically get at Leo’s, and in 6 years I am yet to be disappointed! The servers are friendly and fast, and you can’t beat the price.

Leo’s is great since it’s easy, fast, and reliable. It’s a solid coney island that has all of the standards. Chicken Kabob: if you want something on the healthier side but can’t handle salads, get a kabob. Big chunks of chicken cooked on the griddle with some onions, tomatoes, and yogurt sauce with pita. Coney: a snappy weiner on a bun with mustard, raw onions, and special coney chili sauce Gyros: Not sliced from a rotary broiler, but grilled presliced pieces of gyro meat. Still tasty, but don’t be surprised. The service can be variable, but most of the servers are pretty responsive. They are mostly younger folks that work the tables. It is definitely a diner type experience, so they are fast and to the point. No socializing here!

This location is not the best. But it does have fast and friendly service. I usually get the chicken finger pita, which is not bad. My husband usually orders the gyro which he claims is all okay. I do really like their Greek salads and the lemon rice soup. We of course will be back because it is so convenient.

The food may be good, but when you call ahead to make sure they are open and you arrive to closed location, no good. In addition your employees that work inside should be at least somewhat gracious about handing out information that isn’t accurate. Didn’t get to try to food, this is strictly based on extremely poor customer service.

Fast, reliable, good food. I could pretty much order anything on their menu and be satisfied with what I’m eating. For starters, the lemon rice soup is good, especially on that nice crisp fall day or during a winter lunch. The gyros are pretty darn good as well. Chicken tenders(stand alone, buffalo style, or in a wrap)…would get it over any fast food any day(and you pretty much get your order just as fast anyway).

this location sucks, sat here for 10 minutes, no one said hi or acknowledged us at all, I finally asked someone if it was ok that we sat our self’s and she said we were fine, but she never came back so 5 minutes later we left and went to the other Leo’s on Opdyke where the food and service is always good

I grew up eating at Leos Coney Island so i am very familiar with the food. My favorite of all time is their chili and spinach pie! Love their breakfasts, Greek salads with famous dressing and chicken kabob. Over a year ago i started coming to this location because its close to my house. The food is the same at each location but the customer service is not the best here. I came here Saturday and i our waitress forgot she had a table. Once she dropped off our food we did not see her again until we asked for the bill. The place was empty and all the employees were sitting at a table chatting it up. The employees are young and probably this is their first job. Don’t expect smiles from the wait staff and don’t come here if you are in a hurry.

I’ve been coming to this Leo’s for over 10 years. I used to love it when they actually took some care in the food and service. The past few years it is consistently bad. I never thought someone could screw breakfast up but Leo’s royally fucked mine up. They brought me mushy hash browns, BLACK burnt bacon, and rubbery eggs. They did manage to toast my bread without messing that up. The service is consistently unpleasant and the servers are rude. They did manage to refill my coffee cup several times with mediocre coffee. Lunch is mediocre but there are better coneys around.

I have been going here for years, and still love it! The prices are very reasonable, the food is tasty, and the service is quick. This is a great casual place to meet with friends for a nice bite to eat.

I have sworn off this and all Leo’s because of a few different experiences that were not pleasant. The staff is very disinterested and the«management» is either uninvolved or equally inept. I gave Leo’s a few shots. One time my eggs were so runny they were inedible. One time the waitress forgot me — I ordered one egg. Never got it. Could still be sitting there had I not stormed out, and the hostess said she would take it off the bill — really? Thanks. The final straw was when our waitress was so busy texting that she didn’t see our food sitting in the window. When she finally noticed, as she was picking up the plates, she drug her sweatshirt sleeve through my food, raced over to drop it off and went back to the kitchen to continue texting. I wanted to notify her that I saw her sleeve go into my food, but she was aloof and back in the kitchen so I left. The Big Boy next door is dated, but at least the staff gives a rip — so that is where we go instead.

It was a late morning. My dining companion and I were hungry and didn’t want to travel far for a decent breakfast. We found it at Leo’s Coney Island. Both of us ordered the two eggs and two pancakes special with bacon and a cup of Joe. The pancake portions were generous and tasty, the eggs were runny as we liked them, and the coffee hit the spot. Yet, there was nothing unique or distinguishable about the meal. Leo’s Coney Island served its purpose — hot breakfast food fast — but it’s nothing really to write home about.
