Whenever I am in the neighborhood, I try to stop by Peter’s Palate Pleasers for an armful of desserts. On this visit, I only picked up one dessert, a pear and almond tart with a shortbread crust. Limiting myself to only one dessert is a rarity since I love their crème brûlée, fruit-topped tarts, and other dessert goodies. Instead, I concentrated on the offerings in the refrigerated case which included salads, ribs, and other dishes too numerous to mention. Of course, I have to give a special shout-out to one special item: I am addicted to the deviled eggs here and love the spicy mustard taste of these gems. I also liked the egg, tomato, and cheese tart, also in a shortbread crust. Warmed up, the individual-sized pie was cheesy and savory and perfect for brunch. I thought the ahi tuna salad with avocado in a mustard sauce was divine. The chopped chicken salad, a variation of a Waldorf Salad, was enjoyable. The penne in a spicy tomato sauce with sliced chicken breasts and basil and topped with bocconcini cheese was also delicious, a small container feeds three. A careful selection of offerings was perfect for brunch and several dinners the following week, a great time-saver for busy weeknights.

If you can get over the high prices, you will love this place. They have a vast variety of already made food. Perfect for on the go moms or if you’re late and don’t have time to cook lunch or dinner. They also have a spectacular catering menu, especially around the holidays. Their salmon is great, chicken picAtta is pretty good, and I love their arugula salad. Check out their sweets, their chocolate cake, carrot cake, and the PAVLOVA cake are out of this world. I always go back!

YUM!!! this place is super delicious, if you can afford the high priced food. there are many options of food here — freshly made. Salads are around 10 $, there are also designer baked goods and desserts. my favorite thing is the mini tenderlion sandwich, its literally mouth watering. the shop is small with out seating — you definitely carry out. they make fresh breads daily of all kinds. easy to park and walk right in.

After my first visit to Palate Pleaser it seems like a top notch caterer/take out. It is definitely pricey but the food is worth it. It is possible to go for lunch and get a few small things for under $ 10.
