Had a fantastic experience and an excellent meal tonight. One of few area restaurants with a full bar we started with a great drink in the rustic cosy bar then had some out of this world steaks in the dining room. Suburb service. Relaxed local gem.

This is my regular hangout spot. Been friends with the owners for a long time. Took my wife here for our anniversary; she loved it. The Mitolas have always taken care of my family and friends in every way whenever we have gatherings and get togethers here.

I’ve visited Bllomfield Steak House about 2 times and each time the food was delicious. Even went for a New Years Eve dinner and the service was top notch! We def recommend it to steak and seafood lovers!

We were there Friday night with about 20 friends! The food, from appetizers to dessert, was great. Atmosphere was cool. Building dates back to 1600’s! The service was fantastic!

I got there before my friend so I sat at the very small bar. The first bartender, a lady that reminded me of Molly Ringwald(in a good way), was great. The guy that replaced her, was a little rude and definitely rushed. Ordered a red sangria. It was very generic sangria, probably something straight out of a bottle, no fruit except for a grapefruit on the rim. The guy rang me up for a riesling on the receipt for the drink and when I mentioned it, he said it’s the same price so it doesn’t matter(i wasn’t offered a drink menu at all at the bar so i couldn’t question it). Spent almost $ 10 on the drink alone. Proceeded to the dining room. Our waiter was dressed in very casual clothes(I thought he was a customer at first). Both my friend and I ordered the steak crostini. We also split a side of broccoli and mashed potatoes. The broccoli was a tad undercooked and no seasoning, just steamed. The garlic mashed potatoes were good. Nothing remarkable yet. The steak crostini is where my opinion changed. It was great! I wish they would have asked how we like it done(I prefer mine more medium rare and this was definitely along the medium well side) but it was still delicious in the balsamic reduction. Definitely enough for a meal when put with sides. If I come back, I’ll ask for extra of that balsamic reduction. The décor is lovely. They had a fireplace with a live fire inside and a few fire pits outside on the patio. It’s a lovely place, but the staff could use some work. I might come back based on its convenient location off the parkway. All in all, it’s your standard local steakhouse. Overpriced, for sure, but there’s definitely a charm to something local.

Far too overpriced for mediocre food and service — comparable food quality to an Applebee’s, Friday’s, or other chain Americana restaurant with much worse atmosphere. The feel is as if you are walking into someone’s house with very dark lighting. You’re ushered into their«dining area» which is approximately 8 – 10 tables in a small room. There is no dress-code for their servers so everyone was in jeans and a tshirt so you didn’t know if you were talking to a waiter, busser, or host. I ordered their chef special«cowboy steak» a 20oz bone-in ribeye with caramelized onions and blue cheese($ 45), my girlfriend had their stuffed tilapia($ 28). We got our side salads out first, they were served on these plates that looked like they came from my mom’s early 80’s dish set she got from Marshall’s with a plastic cup of dressing on the side. I ordered my steak med-rare and the steak was well overcooked, the blue cheese and caramelized onions on top of the steak overpowered the meat — I’ve honestly had better steak from a middle-of-the-road chain restaurant. My girlfriend’s tilapia was also completely underwhelming. For these prices go look else-where. I really regret coming here, it was a horrific waste of money in terms of food experiences.

I celebrated my mother’s surprise birthday party at the Bloomfield Steak House last night. First off, the staff worked very well with my sister and I in order to pull this off. They were amazing! The room for our guest was spacious, they had a great sound system for music, the tables were absolutely gorgeous, and of course, the food was amazing! Our guests loved the wines, beer and sangria. Everyone said that they will be back for dinner for sure! If you are planning a party, or any special occasion, I would highly recommend you give the Steak House a call! Shout out to Nicole and Pedro! Delicious sangrias Frankie! Great acting skills Brianna and the rest of the staff! Also, thanks to the hands that prepared our meals! Fawn and I couldn’t have done it without you!

Really enjoyed the Bloomfield Steak House! I really liked the dressing on my special tuna over salad, but the amount of tuna I got was NOT worth the $ 22 price tag. My boyfriend ordered the Angry Fish Tacos, again $ 22, but they were worth it. Very large portion and yummy. Breaded, not grilled. I enjoyed eating on the patio. Definitely would like to come back soon.

I’ve been here on two occasions — one for a meal for two and another hosting a large party in one of their private spaces. In terms of their large party, I am happy with what they offer in terms of menu selection. I was hard pressed to find a venue that would host 20+ people for less than $ 40 pp, and this restaurant fits the bill perfectly. No annoying«site/room rental fee», just straight up pay for the food and get the room. Frank and Andrea were easy to work with and were flexible. Everyone had a great dinner. We had two young waiters and they did their job well and were very patient with our questions. For the meal for two, I used the Unilocal deal which made it more affordable. Without the deal I probably won’t come eat here as it was a bit expensive for the portion and the quality of the food I got. Regardless, for large parties I would book here without hesitation.

Went here on a dinner date with Mommy dearest. No frills space. Outdoor area. Great service. Full bar. I’m surprised I’ve never been here before. I opted for the Dry Aged NY Strip. If you’re gonna go to a steakhouse, you might as well go for broke. They dry age on the premises for 28 days. Definitely had the dry aged flavor on the outside. Grilled, not broiled. While my steak was very good, I can’t say the steak was the juiciest or tastiest I’ve had, unfortunately. The salad and garlic mashed potatoes were about average. I would come back based on the service(friendly, attentive and always refilling my water) and the extensive menu. Lots of options for most people, especially pescetarians, but not vegans. They also allowed my mom to substitute broccoli instead of salad.

Whole experience sucked, besides the host and our server, they were both great and the shittiness of our night was beyond their control. We got a great seat out on the patio for a Friday night dinner. ordered some drinks and waited for our food. A bunch of men in suits, loud and obnoxious men, lit up some cigars at their table. The host came out and asked them to put them out, since there was a dinner crowd and cigar smoke can be annoying while eating. They didn’t listen. They ordered a ton of expensive whiskey, and got louder as the evening went on. More people came, more cigars were lit, they were asked again to stop but they didn’t care. I guess mgmt didn’t care since they were spending so much on liquor. Then the food. I had a chicken dish, the only side was a couple pieces of barely-steamed broccoli. The chicken was over-cooked and hard. My girlfriend got crab cakes, they were good but her broccoli was also gross. That was the only side. Pretty expensive entrees — and you only get some gross broccoli that took some work to chew. We started with clams on a half-shell. They weren’t shucked all the way, so you couldn’t just slurp em down. I had to butcher the clams with a fork or chew on the whole thing. I was a cool place, nice bar inside, good atmosphere, great patio. Service was excellent. But I won’t go back, food was lacking, and they’ll let people blow cigar smoke in your face while you try to eat.

This place is a nice spot for a Friday night night summer dinner. It’s even better to dine outside when the weather permits. The steaks and other entrees are well portioned. I’ve enjoyed a few ribeye with bake potato. Boo Boo usually gets the french onion soup and fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. The shrimp are large and of good quality. And all entrée comes with salad as well. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. I used a $ 10 for $ 20 Unilocal deal so dinner here was more affordable. The bathroom is upstairs, I usually bump my head because the ceiling is angled with the shape of the roof. I always forget to be mindful of it but only after I bump my head.

Awesome experience! Six of us had a lovely Mother’s Day 2015 dinner here. Shoutout to Susan for being patient(the white sangria was awesome) The décor and ambiance rocks! It’s reminds me of home and if you haven’t been yet — the restaurant is actually a house! The outside area is great as well. We will dine outside for our next visit. Restroom are upstairs. There is a private parking lot and metered parking on the street. On to the food: — We ordered bacon wrapped scallops, crab and spinach dip and buffalo chicken dip to start. All AWESOME — Next came lobster tails, flounder and shrimp special, shrimp scampi, lobster bisque, NY strip steak and a chicken pasta dish(forgot name) — We enjoyed some coronas, white wine, white sangria pitcher and water. — Finally ending off the meal with vanilla, crème brûlée, sambuca and cappuccino! This was on heck of an awesome night and I’m sure our parent enjoyed the experience. Cool memories for sure and definitely going back to enjoy more cool times

Thoroughly enjoyed by very first visit to Bloomfield Steak House. I recall it being a Friday evening with no real agenda other than dinner at a local restaurant and some drinks. We had no reservations that night, but figured we try our luck, get a drink or two while we waited for a table. The wine selection wasn’t much and as per usual, I had ordered a glass of Pinot Noir. Overall the wait wasn’t long, 30 minutes at most, even though we were told that we would wait close to an hour. To kill the time we had lingered around the patio/terrace with our drinks. I wasn’t expecting such an upbeat place with lights strung post to post and a well burning fire pit. It was cozy! For dinner I had ordered a BURGER with cheddar cheese and my other half a COWBOYRIBEYE off the specials menu. The food was a solid 4, no frills, just your hearty beefy dishes. The meat was cooked to our liking which let’s face it, is the bottom line to all steakhouses — you either cook it right or you don’t. Service was friendly. Value was decent. Quality was slightly above your average. The only think I disliked about my whole experience was the fact that the dining room was poorly lit,(I like seeing my food when I eat).

Came here for my moms birthday. Had the lobster bisque soup. It was very good, although I would of like to see just a little bit more lobster or seafood in it. Dinner rolls that came out where a mix of pumpernickel, wheat, and white similar mix u get when you go to the Cheesecake Factory. We decided to share the shrimp scampi. They brought us each a dinner salad and didn’t charge us for the additional dinner salad which was nice. Dinner salad was arugula, red onion, carrot, and a cherry tomatoes. Shrimp scampi came out with five extra large shrimp served over linguini. I added black pepper, red pepper, and Parmesan cheese to mine. i would of liked for it to be a little more seasoned on its own but the food was prepared well. We didn’t do dessert this time because we were so full from everything else we had eaten. The dessert special was a coconut sour cream cake that did sound good just had no room for it. The fireplace was on which gave it a nice touch

Good but not great! Expensive but not worth it. The staff is ok. Though the atmosphere is a bit unique and the décor is notable the mission of a restaurant is good food and service that matches pricing. If that’s not there you’ll struggle because people like me will write you off. Despite having a fireplace it was still chilly. BRINGYOURSWEATER! After all that the stuff flounder is good but not blow your socks off as the staff and atmosphere would make you believe.

I had been craving a steak and a beer, so based on positive reviews, decided to try Bloomfield Steak & Seafood House with a few buddies. *FYI — they accept reservations for tables of 5 or more only.* Gents: Although the atmosphere is casual, I still felt under-dressed without a collar or sweater. Our table appetizers were clams casino, buffalo chicken dip and empanadas. The dip was off the charts good and I was told that the empanadas were as well. The clams casino, although somewhat tasty, were a bit watery for me. My entrée was one of their specials: a cowboy(rib eye) steak, cooked medium, with garlic butter, crispy onions and a baked potato. It was very, very good. Extremely tender and tasty, and cooked to a temperature that I like. I didn’t find that their beer selection was extensive, but they did offer a brand that I like(Stella Artois) and it went perfectly with my steak. For dessert I had a big slice of their German chocolate cake, and it was very good. As to the service we received: The hostess was very friendly, as was our waitress. Our table was bussed quickly as were our water refills. My only criticisms would be that our waitress could have had a better understanding of their beer selection, which may have led me to believe that it wasn’t extensive. Also, our entrees came out soon after our salads. To me though, that was a good timing error(assuming it was), as I prefer eating my salad at the same time as my entrée…
