Phenomenal service by Holly!!! I came to Elite for a groupon deal… What a great value! $ 35 for paraffin mani-​pedi. Elite is located in a strip mall, nearby Portillos (nuff said right?), Chase bank and Caputos among all the other small shops. Once you make your reservation, they will text and email you with your appointment info. They also send you a text reminder 1 day prior. This is a full salon for aesthetics, hair and nails. Can’t beat that!

Had a horrible experience with Karen M. While the rest of the stylists and staff seemed friendly and quite approachable, Karen was the exact opposite. She was rude and pretentious, having no respect for myself OR my mother. On top of this, she completely mangled my hair.
Fortunately, the other staff members (not including Karen) apologized on behalf of her behavior. Unfortunately, I am still left with butchered hair.

I love this salon. I was staying with a friend in villa park and looking for a place to get my hair cut and colored on short notice. She recommended this place. I called and they got me in that very day! The girl did such a great job for never doing my hair before and on short notice. I will definitely go back. In fact, im thinking of switching from my regular hair stylist and salon, thats how great they were!

I tried a Groupon because I was looking for a new hair salon. Amy was awesome! She’s a nice person and a talented I love my blonde highlites.

Came in with a Groupon for a haircut. Was able to get appointment the next day and got an SMS and email confirmation and reminder. Got amazing ombré and cut by Ami. Came in not expecting much but she really listened to what I wanted and the result was fantastic. This was my third attempt at ombré after first two butchered ones. Cannot be happier. Ami is a true master. Highly recommend!!!

I have never been a «beauty shop» type of gal. I get my hair cut when nothing else fixes that unkempt look, and I get highlights once a year to blend in the gray, low maintenance all the way. So I’m sure it will come as no surprise when I tell you I’ve been making the rounds of the cheap chains for 25 years — Fantastic Sam’s, Great Clips, Hair Cuttery — and getting my hair butchered. NO MORE! Today I had a cut with style and a foil frost at Elite Edge and have been spoiled forever. Thanks, Joseline for letting me know how great my hair can look and how comfortable a salon experience can be.

Who would have thought I finally found a fantastic colorist in the burbs thanks to Groupon!?! Joseline is amazing, very knowledgeable and skilled in highlighting technique… She instantly makes you feel like a friend, while turning you into the diva you were before your hair grew out and faded! Overall the salon is very cute as well, all the staff is friendly and I love the detailed email receipts. I have rebooked again for the 4^th time and don’t plan on letting anyone else touch my hair again!

I found my new salon! I got the best haircut I have had in years!!! Joseline really knows hair! She did an amazing job and I have never been happier. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I am definitely scheduling my next appointment with Joseline.

This review is about Jessica Tagliavia. For the past seven years, I have been doing my hair myself, both cutting and coloring it. Last summer, I ruined my hair when the highlights I put in didn’t come out right. My mom had been going to Jessica for years, and so she took me there to get my hair fixed. I went in nervous about someone else doing my hair and not exactly knowing what I wanted. I gave Jessica a vague and confusing vision of what I wanted, yet she knew exactly what to do. Because I wanted four different colors in my hair, and because I already had a bunch of random colors in it, it took her three and a half hours to do it. And even though she stayed late to finish it, she didn’t rush through it or become antsy or angry. My hair turned out beautiful and I can’t even count how many compliments I have gotten on it in the past year! I trust her completely and know that she will always do a good job. I even let her cut my hair (which I have refused to let anyone else do but me) and it always turns out exactly as I wanted it. Jessica is very talented, is so nice and easy to talk to, and will spend as much time as needed to get the job done. I have recommended her to dozens of people that have asked me about my hair, and I recommend her to you to!

I needed my hair colored last minute just moved to villa park, o a friend referred me to lite edge, I was able to walk in and get my hair colored by Joseline, She was not only super friendly, but went the extra mile by fixing my extensions ! I will definitely be returning and Joseline will not only be my new colorist but I will be going to her for my extensions now as well, I used to drive an hour away and pay a lot more money, so glad I found elite edge and Joseline !

I was so looking forward to this salon, since I read such great reviews. I asked for Kristin. She was given such high ratings, I brought a picture of what I want she said it would look so cut, when she was done it didn’t. She butchered my hair. So I went back because I had called and Michelle the owner told me to come back and she would fix it. I told her it was too short and I wanted my money back. She had me come in and made me feel like it was my fault. She had the hair stylist standing behind me give me dirty looks, everyone in the salon seemed to know why I was there. Showed the picture of the style I wanted instead of saying to Kristin that she did it wrong she told me that my hair was to course for that style. Then proceeded to tell me that I might need a class on how to style my hair. In the end did not get my money back they game me a gift card to come back and two little samples. I wouldn’t go back even with the gift card they gave me.

This review is specific to Kristen Steele. I had my hair cut and partial highlights done. Kristen did an awesome job. She was friendly, happy and knowledgeable. She was very cognizant of the time, because I told her I had to leave by 5 pm and she made sure I was done in time. I told Kristen I wanted blond highlights, but I didn’t want them chunky or streaky, and she listened and did exactly what I wanted. The highlights look very natural, which is the look I was going for. She also did a great job cutting my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she cut my hair exactly as I wanted. I will definitely go back and ask for Kristen.

This review is for the massage therapist Veronica Lugo at Elite Edge. She was terrific. I typically don’t schedule second massages as I don’t go in for them very often, but I had a groupon a friend gave me for her massage therapy. She does a fantastic job and includes massage of the head, scalp, and forehead. I’d highly recommend her — she is located inside the elite edge hair salon
