Tutor Time

I have never Unilocaled before but thought that Tutor Time in Bloomindale deserved me telling everyone how good of a Job they do. My oldest has been there for 2 years and will be moving on this fall to kintergarden and is well ahead of where he should be reading writing mathematics and even science. Ms Veronica and Ms Angela in Pre K are fantastic teachers and I highly recommend them and Tutor Time.

I am currently a new user to Unilocal,and also a parent to two children that attend The Bloomingdale Tutor Time. I was excited to do a review for this center as its been an amazing experience for me and my family. I was surpried to have seen the above review, since I and the three families that refered me to them have had nothing but good things to say! Both my boys started in the infant room. Both loving the teachers and their friends. I find that thanks to tutor time and group care both my boys are easy going and are far more social and able to adapt in new situations. From working in childcare in the past, I do realize not all children are ment for group care, and have a harder time adjusting then others, and sometimes it takes more time then people want. I was fortunate that both my boys adapted perfectly thanks to the help of the staff and me learning to let go a little. From the managemrnt to the teachers to even their cook everyone has been a pleasure. One of my boys is” active”, and they were always open and honest with me and gave me solutions and resources that were helpful. My oldest will be leaving soon due to his school being out of the district and the thought of trusting him with other people makes me a nervous wreck (and im not sure I can do it). This is their home away from home and these teachers and children are an extension of thier family. Its impossible for me to get them to leave most nights and that speaks volumes to me! We as a family love Tutor TIme and thier staff ! I would recomend them to any one :).

We had a terrible experience with the infant room at this Tutor Time location. We walked in several times to our son crying on a mat by himself. If the policy here is to let babies «cry it out» they need to make parents aware of that. Another issue we had was that every time we came to pick up our son the «teachers» were sitting in rocking chairs watching the babies. Never once did we see either of them on the ground playing! Honestly, I don’t think the facility itself is the problem, it’s the people they have working there. Don’t be fooled by the tour they give you and their too-​good-​to-​be-​true answers. Babies need affection and care and this place is ice cold. Suffice to say, we took our son out of there after a week. When we spoke to the director about our decision she seemed to care less.
