I lived at their Woods at Latimer property for almost 3 years while I completed school. I had a few maintenance issues during that time, but nothing was major. They were quick to respond. I had great neighbors, the community was quiet, and the office was always helpful when I had rent issues. My apartment was small, but really nice. I would rent from them again for sure.

I lived at The Grove at Latimer for a year and absolutely loved it! Literally the first day I moved in our ice maker in our freezer wasn’t working. so I called the office and told them. Within an hour there was the maintenance staff and a brand new fridge standing at my front door. I was so surprised!
The management is awesome, they are very helpful and flexible. Whenever I had a problem they always found out a way to help me. The maintenance staff is also very good. As I said before they are very quick and do a thorough job. I have never had to call for the same problem twice.
The area is very nice and parking is NEVER a problem. There was always a place to park. I also really liked having access to the work out facility and the pool. Every time I had a new friend over they always commented about how nice my apartment was (and all for a decent price, too!). Last, one of my favorite parts about the grove was that we lived in a 3-​bedroom so each roommate had a bathroom and walk-​in closet to themselves. Loved it and I would recommend it to all of my friends!

Before I moved in, I put down a deposit and reserved and was promised an apartment facing the woods. I was clear that I didn’t want to live there if I was facing the mall parking lot. So I arrive to move in, all my stuff in a U-​Haul, graduate school starts in 3 days, and they take me to the worst apartment, overlooking the mall parking lot, bright with flood lights all night!!! I was furious. At least the bedroom was on the other side, but it was still not dark because that was the apartment parking lot! They had given away all the other places, it was either this, or a really large unit that was like $ 500 more per month, or start looking for a new place that second. I didn’t feel that I had any choice, what with the U-​Haul and grad school starting in 3 days.
So I moved in and got settled, furious. It didn’t look like the carpets had been cleaned (a little gross), but the woman who checked me in insisted they had. There was a wall with pale spots on it, like it had been spotted with primer for some reason but not painted over. She insisted that was normal. I hung pictures over it. The apartment itself was ok, nothing special but not bad. Standard medium-​grade modern apartment. Not much went wrong, but it was a pretty new apartment.
Then move-​out comes. I had a move-​out appointment first thing in the morning that they blew off (on purpose it turns out, so they could charge me for things that I didn’t do). After a half hour I called and was told they had somehow written the appointment in the wrong book so the manager didn’t know, but he’d be over soon. Long wait. Called again, more run around. A couple of hours passes, still no one. I’d had no coffee or food because everything was packed. I was supposed to be on the road hours earlier, and now I was starving and running really late. I called over again and she said he’d still be a while longer, so I said tell him not to come in the next half hour then, because I have got to go get a cup of coffee and a muffin. I go do that and come back to find that during that exact time, he *allegedly* came and inspected, but now he can’t be found anywhere so we can’t possibly find out what he thought! Seriously?!? He is nowhere?!? This was SO SHADY. One of the handymen was in the area and I tried to get him to help and he smirked at me and said ‘oh you really shouldn’t have gone to get coffee.’ Like he totally knew that it was a scam designed to inspect when you were out and charge you for a lot of fake stuff and keep your deposit. So I finally have to just hit the road (it was afternoon at that point!), and of course they charged me over $ 1,000 for repainting walls that weren’t properly painted before I moved in, and all kinds of other made-​up crap. I keep a really clean house, no shoes inside, sock-​feet only, I vacuum and clean weekly. This was TOTAL BS. But they knew I was moving away, and they had their scam all in place. THIEVES.
