I have been here two times before. When I walked in today, there were signs up stating that purple items were 50% off and pink items were 50% off. So I shopped with that in mind. When I got to the register to check out, I was told that only pink items were 50% off and I would have to go find a 50% off purple sign to prove it. The cashier went and looked and said, no there are only signs that say pink is 50% off. I said that other stores would honor the purple 50% discount since the signs were up when I walked in. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager and only pink items were 50% off. He asked his co-worker who said there were purple 50% signs up earlier and probably had been taken down, but he still wouldn’t honor it. They obviously don’t care about good customer service here and prefer to act like the customer is lying. There are plenty of other thrift stores that will honor their signs, so I will shop there from now on.

I came to this location expecting it to be like the one in Richfield, but boy was I wrong. This is clean, smells good, and is almost overly organized. It took the fun out of going to a thrift store when everything had a place; if you set something down an employee was immediately there to make sure it was back in said place. They didn’t have a great selection of items and the most«designer» thing they had was a purse from Kohl’s(no big names here). The other thing that bugged me, was the fact that there was always an employee around, I felt like I was on a reality tv show; or they thought I was going to steal a 4′ photo of a tree(either way, I didn’t like it). Will I be back? Maybe. I think if they made it feel more like a thrift store, it would do really well.

Ive been here about 5 times since it opened and have bought things twice. One good thing is it is never busy. They employ people with disabilities which is nice. They have a weekly color at 50%. This week it was yellow. The amount of kids clothes is dismal. No good récords, albums or lps to buy. Their prices are high for a thrift store but not excessively high like Savers or Unique. They have antiques under a glass case. Today I purchased a yellow reflective vest for my inner construction worker or sentence to serve theme. Actually to walk my new dog close to dusk or early morning. This was not a steal at $ 4.99 but I had a 20% coupon from the Cub receipt next door. So hit or miss but thats why I like thrift stores for the hunt.
