Car-X Auto Service

I’ve always had great service from everyone there.
I work next door and my battery died one day, not only did they give me a jump start, but they charged my battery for me for no charge.
I’ll definitely be going back to them and recommend them to anyone looking to get their car looked at.

So after my experience at Luther Bloomington I called around to a few car places to see what the options were. The guy on the phone at Car-​X answered all my questions regarding the time frame and pricing.
My issue, needing new brake pads and rotor, was a common problem, Car-​X would have it serviced and back to me the day I came in. I dropped off car on a Saturday morning (hooray for being open on Saturdays!), got a call after they looked at it and had assessed the problem, and got a call when it was ready. The service person was really prompted, he didn’t mention any «premium» parts or try to upsell anything; he even told me about the $ 20 off coupon their location offered. By going to Car-​X I paid 70% of the price Luther quoted me which I thought was a lot more reasonable price for the parts and labor. I appreciated the quality of service and value in the customer and work at Car-​X. I will definitely be back the next time I need something done with my car.

Recently went in for an oil change and 30 point inspection expecting the usual of them telling me the laundry list of problems my car had and how much it would cost me. The manager, Galen, after doing the oil change came out and told me very nicely that although there were several things I needed to do there was one thing that needed to be fixed ASAP because it was dangerous to drive. He was so nice that he actually came into work the next morning early so he could start on my car (because I had to drive a couple hours the next day for work), dropped me off at my office a couple miles away, and then gave me a discount for no reason.
Seriously if you are looking for a nice guy to work on your car Galen is the dude.
