This Days Inn is very old. Unlike most places in Bloomington, its the same on the outside as the inside. That being said, its perfectly functional. Everything was clean. I was in this hotel for three nights for work since most of the major hotels(Marriotts) are always booked. The guy was nice and to let him know if I needed anything. As for the room, I was given a suite. This meant I got a couch. I never used the couch, because it looked a bit iffy. Some other brief notes is that I hadn’t seen a CRTTV in a room in years, but this one came equipped with one. As for the breakfast, it was very spartan, just some toast, cereals, and fruit but that shouldn’t be surprising. There is also no fitness room which is important to me, although they have a pool which looked decent although I did not use it. The location is in an area that is behind a trucker’s stop right off the highway, so presumably this is their demographic they are aiming for. While I was there there were maybe a dozen tenants at any point in time. It is very close to downtown Bloomington, but really in BloNo eveything is close. In the end, it is old but clean. It is a solid option for the budget consumer who needs a place to sleep. Just don’t expect to spend a lot of time there.
