this kroger in particular has the following: 1.) poor produce selection 2.) rude employees(examples: a stocker was stocking food in the middle of an aisle and had his boxes piled up so my cart couldnt get around. he looked at me. rolled his eyes and then threw the box out of the way. 2nd example, the dude who rang me up didnt say hello, acted annoyed when i asked for cash back and then refused to give me 4 quarters even though i saw a whole roll in his drawer. instead he directed me to the customer service associate who was on lunch. as i was leaving the older employee started getting annoyed with the cash register and the fact that he didnt have enough cash and was audibly annoyed with his life. I dont want to hear that.) 3.) the cart pusher almost ran me over. rude. bottom line. i’ll be driving a few miles past this store to Meijer.

I had been shopping at this Kroger for almost 3 years, and for the most part thought some of the staff was friendly, and helpful. I went on one Friday to shop and saw that there was an extremely expired package of vanilla jello pudding on the shelf. It was the only one there(the rest were chocolate) and the date said 11÷12÷11. I went there 02÷10÷12. I contacted corporate about that issue as well a rude worker in pharmacy. They got back to me immediately and apologized. The assistant manager Allan Weddle also emailed me and said that he «talked» to the dairy manager about the pudding and that he hoped that I would return to the store. I felt that his letter was heartfelt and decided to shop there that Sunday which was 02÷12÷12. I walked down the dairy aisle to get some sour cream, and sure enough the expired pudding was still on the shelf. It was still the only vanilla on the shelf and was sitting proudly in the front. I was shocked and disgusted, that they would do something like this. Especially with a dairy product that could make someone sick. I took a picture of it and contacted corporate again. They emailed me saying that they would get in contact with the store and find out what was going on. Two weeks later no word, no apology, no nothing… I know that I definitely won’t be returning to this store again, and have to give it some serious thought about going to another Kroger in general, if this is how their corporate office«takes care» of things.
