I go here for staple products, not really picky ever about the service because the products are so good. I highly recommend their brow products, lipsticks, and really anything. My only advice is you may not want the employees to do your whole face before going out or an event. Maybe just for fun but they really do go all out with it. I once did it before a night out and I ended up looking fairly over made up when I told them I wanted natural. I would just say go into it with caution and make sure your always checking it with a mirror while they’re doing it.
Staff is usually helpful and matches correct product with what you ask for. Always check the items they pull from the back in order to avoid going home with an incorrect product. Bless MAC cosmetics!

MAC has always been my go-​to for stellar makeup products. The foundation, eyeshadow, primers, and other products never fail to please. The lip gloss is stellar, absolutely stellar! Their recycling program is also exceptional.
I must say that at some locations, the makeup artists are anything but friendly. I would be afraid to try anything on given their unpleasant demeanor towards me. The crabby vibe does not attract consumers. How hard can it be to smile? It would at least promote the lip colour they are currently wearing!

When I was planning our wedding, I was obsessed with makeup. Would my foundation look funky in certain lighting? Fake eyelashes — are they a good look or tacky? Should I wear a lot or go for a more au natural look? ARGH! I was so confused!
Thankfully I stumbled upon the MAC counter at the MOA one day. A nice makeup artist calmed my worries and went through a relatively neutral special occasion look step by step. She listened and offered advice but wasn’t pushy. I walked out of the MOA a calmer, prettier woman. Granted I had spent too much $ but MAC is a lot less spendy than the other makeup counters. I still use half the stuff on a regular basis. The other half I lost somewhere in my car. I swear there is a portal to another dimension under on of the seats.

Why buying MAC cosmetics at a MAC store is better than buying them at a dept store:
–If you provide your name when you check out, they’ll keep track of your purchases (like, colours), so when you come in for a replacement or a colour to complement your current routine, it’s super easy for them to look up.
–They sell the eyeshadow quads (you buy the quad container, then buy the refills to put in it, which are cheaper than buying the normal eyeshadows. and more convenient!.)
–They have a return program, where if you return 6 eye shadows or lip colours (empty, half-​used, full, etc.), you get a free lipstick
But, this store is small and tends to get crowded — if it’s crowded and you want to browse, the MAC counter at Nordstrom is hardly ever busy.
