So we tried the mozzarella sticks & jalapeño poppers, which the cheese used was just gross tasting. The cheese burger and veggie sandwich, were pretty bland. It was really dissappointing.

Came back for another visit and it is still the bomb. All the sandwiches are delicious, just something about that sub bread, a little crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, like heaven in my mouth. They don’t skimp out on the meats like other big name chains do, I’m talking about you Subway & Jimmy John’s. Make it a large sandwich combo and you get a bag of chips, soda & your choice of donut, great deal! I’ll be back for more. *Those yellow peppers are killer, don’t miss out.

Amazing service! They were however unable to sell the unique donuts with the Cheetos cereal or Oreos on them since they only do those in the morning or if you order beforehand. The lady was able to make an Oreo donut for me and kindly offer my mom a free donut to try. The croissant was tasty and cheap and their frap is great. Might just come back in the future!

I feel like the subs are more lettuce and other vegetables than the meat. I purchased a club trio sandwich which was decent for the 6 $ ur spending and it does fill u up but its mostly bread and vegetables. I also ordered taro smoothy thing which although tastes like powder it isn’t bad, its close to home and pretty good with the whip crème. I wish they had normal boba and not the popping kind though… Also with each large sub order you get a free donut which is awesome

I Just found out they charge a convenience fee, which is bullshit, And against the law. And the people here today were not friendly at all.

Pretty good little place and more of a 3 ½. Would go back. You can sit and eat but very casual and no table service, which is fine. The turkey sub and donuts were all good, not unbelievable but tasty. They have ice cream and shakes as well. Check it out.

Best maple bars ever! Been eating here 30 years. The subs are delish! Call order in if you don’t want to wait. I do warn you about all the Homeless people hanging around. Very sketchy area! Be careful about purse and keys!

This place is an absolute gem. I rarely go for the donuts because their sandwiches are amazing! The capicola sandwich is my favorite(plus you get a free donut with any large sub). During this particular visit, I absolutely had to try the Hot Cheetos glazed donut, which is extremely tasty! It’s the right amount of salt and sweet which is the perfect desert in my opinion, and they make it fresh to order! The two ladies that helped us were super friendly and I had a pleasant experience. I definitely recommend this place! Don’t be deterred from the exterior, the interior is great and the menu is vast!

3.5 stars I have passed this place a million times and never made an effort to stop, until now. Friendly service. This place has a huge menu. They make it all. The bacon donut was good, but It was extremely sweet. Next time I will order the donut with very little glaze, as it over powers it. I ordered French fries to balance the sweetness of the doughnut and they tasted awful along with the mayo. My sister got the Italian trio sub and I took a nibble out of it and that was really good, minus the tomatoes. The subs are huge. I will definitely be back for the subs, even though I am not a sandwich person.

I don’t know about their food BUT their donuts are NOT good at all. A co-worker took some and you really didn’t taste the donut all you could taste was the oil. They need to work on their donut recipe.

Tried this place out since I work nearby, and I had heard good things. I had just gotten off work, and. I called my Wife to see if she was craving anything.(Preggo) Big surprise she wants sandwiches. Braved a construction zone, traffic, and Bloomington to get to this spot. Doesnt look too impressive from the outside. Different story when you get inside. Its nice inside. Video menu. Ice cream bins in a freezer. Handsome looking donuts. Clean tables and chairs. Friendly Ladies waiting to help you. So far so good. Ordered a Club Sandwich for the Missus. Got a Philly Cheesesteak for myself, the one without lettuce and tomato. Some fries because my Daughter yelled«french fries!» in the background when I was on the phone with m’lady. Some Beer-Battered Onion Rings, just because I feels like it. Every large sandwich comes with a free donut. Why not? I ate my Chocolate Bar while I waited. I got a white glazed w/Fruitty Pebbles sprinkled on it for my girls. The Ladies here are very friendly with me, and everybody else who walked through the door; even some Woman who seemed to be having a bad day. Got everything to-go, got into the car and jammed home. Came through the door, to two hungry girls. Unwrapped everything and got to noshing… I liked my Philly CheeseSteak. Some of the edges of the bread were a little stale, but there was pleanty of tasty morsels in there. They used sliced AND little chunks of meat, there were plenty of green peppers in there. Onions and cheese were good. Not bad. My Wife was NOT impressed with her Club. She only ate half of it. She was not happy with the roast beef as a substitute for bacon. She caught a bite of a tiny chili pepper that made its way into the sandwich.(They are served on the side of the sandwich, and she thought she picked them all out.) She didn’t think it was a good quality sandwich. The fries and onion-rings were awful. It appears that they were zapped in the microwave instead of fried fresh. We all know that stale, rubbery texture these foods get when they are reheated in a microwave. These definitely felt and tasted that way. Even my 4 yr-old Daughter only ate a few fries, before deserting them on the table. I ended up making her soup, because she was still hungry. Will I ever return? Probably. Just based on their reviews I would like to try something else and rereview. Perhaps the Pastrami, or some Ice Cream with the kids. But this is my current assessment.

Decided to try Mikel’s based on their reviews and I’m very glad I did so. We ordered the bacon glazed donuts and let me just say that they were phenomenal! I’m really excited to go back and try a sub sandwich the next time we stop by!

I’m so glad I found out about this place, thanks to Unilocal. This is a one stop shop. The cheese steak sandwich I ordered was made with just the right amount of steak, cheese, onion, and peppers. I got the combo so it came with fries. It was so delish. Good service and quick. They serve hot and cold subs, breakfast sandwich, donuts, ice cream, smoothies, ice Frappuccinos, hot and ice coffee, and raspadas. How many items can you have on a menu and be efficient? They can.

I stopped in to pick up a dozen doughnuts for my office mates. They’ve got all the standard stuff here(glazed, cake, bars, twists, etc.) I had an old fashioned buttermilk doughnut(my favorite of all doughnuts) and it was pretty good. Slightly crisp outside, soft, doughy inside and plenty of glaze to cover each bite. Working in an office of people who are constantly on diets and watching what they eat, the dozen disappeared within 30 minutes of me opening the box. I guess that means my coworkers all enjoyed the doughnuts.
