So again I stop here, and why? Well I love pizza and I think it’s really good here. But yet again they failed to deliver customer service at this place. So first they gave my pizza away to another customer and when they figured that out they tried to give me the pizza that they gave to the wrong customer after she had fingered it to learn that it was not hers. Pretty disappointing! I was able to make a new one and they were going to charge me again! Huh? I should have had my pizza free in the first place. The people are great and I get we all make mistakes, but if you are going to have a manager working during business hours how about teaching some customer service??? Just a thought. Another thing to add… a lot of food allergies have popped up in the last few years. Please train your employees on how to handle or deal with these especially if you offer these products. Not sure if you will ever get my business again… three strikes and you’re out! There are a lot of other business’s in the mall to go to.

This is the first time that I have tried this place. I had the wheat with flax seed crust on my modified Garden(veggie) pizza which was good. They offer unlimited toppings for the $ 8.99 price. That is an 11″ pizza. They have several crusts and a whole bunch of toppings to select from. I went with all veggie items. They even had broccoli to add as a topping! I thought the place looked clean and the toppings appeared to be fresh. They do not load the toppings on so don’t be afraid to ask for more and more if you want that. I did take pictures of my pizza to see what it looked like. I liked the thin crust. You order like a subway where you select the toppings and then they slide it into the oven and in minutes, you have your masterpiece. The staff seemed friendly and helpful knowing that it was my first time. I have to admit, all of the choices seemed a bit overwhelming at first. I would definitely go back again. I don’t think there is anything I would change or to make better. I am still only rating a 4-star. Maybe I could go with a 5.

The gluten free crust here was really good. I’m picky about my pizza crust but this one was not too thin and crispy, with a bit of softness to it. I had a pizza with red sauce, cheese, and a bunch of veggies. They have a great selection of vegetables and meats, garlic, different cheeses… you name it. It’s right on par with a place like Blaze, but with a bit thicker, softer crust. I would definitely return.

So good! This is my new go-to at moa. Its a fun concept, pizza came out quick and was really good! I sometimes worry about thin-crust pizza getting burnt but it was done perfectly. The pizza is the perfect size for one hungry adult or to split if not starving. I hope more locations are opened through the metro.

Delicious pizza that rivals that of other similar institutions. I was feeling adventurous and allowed my own Personal Pizza Professional to create his own masterpiece for me. The Rosemary herb crust melded well with the white sauce and veggies he garnished it with. I was especially impressed with the addition of goat cheese and truffle salt. It was both impressive as well as delicious. Do like. Will eat again.

Great pizza. Loved the gluten free pizza crust option. Thanks so much ! Very casual setting, quick service restaurant in the restaurant hallway by the food court on the top floor. Got our pizza very fast. I got the pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Very good and reasonable prices. 2 pizzas and drink for $ 22 or so. Typical. Definitely try– especially the gluten free pizza

Maybe I was hungry, but I like the fact that I can choose my ingredients & watch the pizza being made right before my eyes. It was ready in less than 10 minutes & tasted fantastic!

I can’t help but go here every time I visit MOA. It’s just such a great concept, the Chipotle of Pizzas. As a health and environmentally conscious person, I love that I can get a great crust, stack on unlimited veggies, all for a great price and in record time. This place and Punch are definitely atop my Minneapolis pizza places where I will consistently eat!

Great lunch for around ten dollars! A large pizza is placed in front of you in under five minutes. We ordered a Margherita pizza and it was delicious — albeit lacking in much basil. Not overly oily — generous amount of chewy stretchy mozzarella. Shaky parm and extra napkins on the table. Friendly employees. Pretty good option for mall pizza. Only cons: Truly horrible ugly art hanging on the walls and the majority of the tables were dirty.

Pizza was decent and it was fast for a pizza on paper thin crust, I guess that’s how they punch them out so quickly. Nothing was labeled for ingredients behind the glass so some of the toppings which were almost empty, we didn’t know what was available to choose from. i couldn’t tell the difference between the«beef» meats, assumed one was sausage the other was steak? Staff wasn’t necessarily excited to be working there. Wasn’t really explained the process of how I actually get my food after paying so, I just sat down and watched as they brought the finished pizzas out to people’s tables.

An enjoyable meal in the mall. A healthier option compared to what you might find in the food hall. Friendly service. Go make yourself a pie.

First off, the pizza is great! I love the available crusts and all the toppings look and taste fresh. It’s unbelievable how fast the pizza is cooked and brought to your table. Cons: no one tells you the pizza comes to you so you gotta just figure it out or wait by the counter cluelessly, the tables are a mess, not even wiped down from the previous dinners. The lady making the pizza is such a rude bitch, the whole staff is just blah! They should really fire everyone and hire a more friendly staff the knows how to smile. The pizza is 5 stars thought.

This is my 2nd time trying Pizza Studio and both times were great! This new type of pizza making concept is a gold mine! But it is also hard to predict whether or not I will end with a good pizza and that worries me. So far it has been fine but it’s been difficult for me to try new things because I’m just not sure if they are a good combination. Last time I was here I tried a pizza that a previous Unilocaler had made that they rated well, and it was delicious! This time I made a fancy Margarita by adding basil pesto, garlic and a little little bit of bacon. It was a very good pizza, although I don’t know if I would ever add the balsamic glaze again as it didn’t have as deep a flavor as other places, such as Punch Pizza, and added a somewhat weird sweetness to my pizza, but I still enjoyed it! The staff were somewhat friendly but some had a ‘really don’t care’ attitude, which is why they don’t receive 5 stars. But they were okay, I wasn’t treated badly just not with the overly kind and customer appreciated attitude other places have. I do wonder what the future of places like this will be. I could picture in a few years this place decreasing in quality after the novelty of it decreases. Overall, I recommend this place at the moment and enjoy the concept of cheap pizza however you want it! You may want to share as I can never finish a whole one but the do have to-go pizza boxes. P. S. Pieology is a great place too but Pizza Studio has way better crust if your into that!

Quick, fun, made to order pizza. The service is fast and friendly. The pizza can be customized right from scratch, they only have thin crust but different flavors to choose. l like their firecracker crust, gives an extra spice. They also offer simpler pizzas like margherita and pepperoni, along with some ‘studio masterpieces’. They have good options for sauce and cheese, though i would love to see them add Alfredo sauce to their list. No holds bar when it comes to toppings, they even let you order half and half. Lots of options in both veggie and meat. Sweet Chicken sausage is my personal favorite. At the end they have some additional seasonings and sauce as finishing touches, i always prefer the balsamic glaze, gives that extra sweetness. The crust can sometime be a let down, but from price point 9 $ for a 11″ thin crust, Bang for your buck

People always swoon over Pizza Lucé and Punch, but while I’ve had some good pizza at Lucé, Punch is always a disappointment. Always. I just can’t get behind the soggy, yet somehow burnt crust. We decided to give Pizza Studio a try as we were sauntering around the mall one afternoon. The concept is similar to Solo’s Pizza. You walk in, choose a crust, some toppings, pay, and sit down and eat. There is one huge difference though. Pizza Studio is actually really, really, really good. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a better crust. The toppings are very good and their application is very liberal. We’ve been back several times, and will continue to do so.

Boring, confusing, loud, and slow. Nothing impressed me about the new Pizza Studio. I’ll start with the same preface I start all of my pizza reviews with. I’m obsessed with pizza, I travel to eat it and I’ve spent years trying to perfect it at home. I’m no pizza snob, but I do prefer Neapolitan vs just about any other style. So what is Pizza Studio? It’s a fast casual pizza concept with a chipotle esque line and wafer thin crust. They have unlimited toppings for $ 8, your choice of crust, and sauces. Sure this place is in the Mall of America. So expect some chaos on weekends especially. Unfortunately, a prominent location such as the MoA that could capitalize on the exposure fell short in quite a few areas. The staff didn’t greet anyone or explain what might new a new ordering experience to some. The other miss was that nothing is labeled or presented well. What cheeses do they offer? I have no idea since there is no menu except on the front door, no menu behind the counter, and no labels on the glass in front of the ingredients. The food, well it’s thin crust which to me hardly even qualifies as pizza. A great pizza should start with great bread, not a cracker thin crust full of sugar. The toppings were bland, they asked if I was sure I wanted the chipotle bbq seasoning on my pizza like it would be spicy or full of flavor but it was bland. The location itself was blaring with overly loud music and tables that were all squished together. They have a really odd setup with some chairs almost outside the store but not really outside either. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it. Travel a few short miles to the infinitely better Punch Pizza. With other nearly identical options appearing daily(PizzaRev, Pieology, etc.), and vastly better options locally, I doubt this franchise will last long.

This is a fun place to have a quick made to order pizza! I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon, so it wasn’t too busy in there. We were immediately assisted by an employee behind the counter. He gave us a quick run down of how it all works. First, you pick a type of pizza dough. Choices include Traditional, Gluten free, and even a flavor of the month. This time it was a Moroccan flavor. We chose to keep it simple with a traditional crust. The best part of this place is you have unlimited toppings to add to your pizza! It’s a great deal for $ 7.99. They also have a few pre-designed options for a lower price. The pizza’s took about five minutes to bake, and came out steaming hot. Although a little greasy, it was a pretty tasty! We also ordered a side of Ceasar salad. It was a pretty large portion and the salad was crisp and sweet. It had a lot of parmesan cheese, which I really liked. I’d definitely come back again when I visit the Mall of America!

2 star rating… It gets a star for being a fun place where, you get to build your own pizza… very similar to Subway where you tell the Pizza person what king of bread(crust in this case), sauce, and toppings… unlimited for $ 7.99. So awesome… I wish I could say the same for the taste… um…I didn’t really care much for the crust, which was wafer like… and didn’t feel like the cheese had much of a taste… and it was VERY greasy! So…that’s why the 2 star rating… couldn’t have worded it better: «Meh. I’ve experienced better»

Never been before but read good reviews. Wow great tasting pizza. My kids ate several slices which they normally do not. We liked the thin crust options and great fresh variety of toppings. Quick and easy. Wish we had one in our hometown.

Great for what it is. Tons of options, including healthier crust and lots of veggies. Mine was delicious. I get overwhelmed easily when there are lots of choices and they were helpful and gave suggestions. I loved my pizza and will be back. Sign up for their online club for a free birthday pizza!

Dining options inside the Mall of America are not just limited to your typical food court options, instead you get a huge variety of options to choose from which made my recent lunch decision a rather difficult one. Luckily I happened to stroll by Pizza Studio, which was advertising an unlimited topping 11″ thin crust personal pizza for only $ 7.99. As I entered I was greeted by a friendly employee who explained the process, which is actually very creative and easy. First you select your type of crust, which range from traditional, spicy, gluten-free, and more. Next up is the type of sauce, and just like with the crust you have a difficult decision to make, as there are five unique sauces available. Cheese isn’t really considered one of the unlimited toppings, however there are four types to choose from before getting to the unlimited toppings. Before your pizza is cooked you are asked if you want to add any Finishing Touches, which include some other toppings, however each pizza is already complemented with Italian herbs and brushed with garlic olive oil before its trip to the oven. The pizza takes about 5 – 8 minutes to cook and comes out delivered to your table, or boxed if you ordered carry out. For my pizza I went to the Rosemary Herb crust, with a tomato blend sauce, topped with mozzarella, bacon, pepperoni, and chicken sausage and I have to admit that it was a very good pizza. I would have never thought that it was prepared in the middle of a mall food court. Service here was fast and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. It wasn’t until I got home that I discovered that this is actually a chain that operates about 6 stores across the US. Hopefully they will be able to expand to more areas soon.

I’m not sure if a Hell on Earth exists, but if it does, I’m sure it would resemble something like the Mall Of America. Whether it’s the endless sea of cars that occupy the ramps that make it nearly impossible to park, the obnoxious swarms of screaming children that linger in the hallways, or the endless number of commercial chains, there’s likely something there that will test your patience. For me, it’s the poor food options. But even in the depths of this perfectly air-conditioned touristy hell, there’s hope. That savior/Obi-Wan Kenobi is called Pizza Studio. Considering that a person can pay the very low price of $ 7.99 for a pretty tasty 11-inch za and receive it under 10 minutes, that’s not bad. And, that’s at the overly priced MOA. Can it compete with other pizza joints in the TC? Not really. So, don’t expect anything extraordinary. Context, yo. Context. Unlike traditional pizza joints, you get to build your own pizza. It’s similar to Subway: Step 1: Choose Your Crust Step 2: Choose Your Sauce Step 3: Choose Your Cheese Step 4: Choose Your Toppings I chose the rosemary herb crust layered with tangy BBQ and topped with shaved parmesan, artichoke hearts, red onions, and spicy pork sausage. Overall, I was surprised! Not to mention, the cashier called me «cutie.» =) Nice touch, Pizza Studio. Nice touch… If I returned to MOA and was hungry, I would definitely consider returning. haha. –Cutie
