NOWONDERALLMYPLANTSAREDEAD! I thought I was purchasing from different companies, when in fact, they all are owned by the same PARENTCOMPANY. I ordered various different plants… but some I’ve had to duplicate a few times because the plants arrived DEAD — thinking I would get better plants from a «different» company. Kelly Nurseries, Four Seasons, Exciting Gardens, and Burgess I’ve ordered from only experienced a 23% success rate. Most my money, time, and effort have been WASTED by PLANTRON. STAYAWAYFROMTHISCOMPANY!

They are disgusting, mean BASTARDS. They have my money, my credit slip and operators who have IQs averaging 23. I pray for them. STAYAWAY!!!

As others have said here, and on the pages for other Plantron companies such as Burgess( ), this is a horrible company. Plant and bulb quality is uneven at best, customer service is often poor, and the last time we ordered from them they ignored their own 1-year replacement guarantee(even though we followed their instructions to the letter). Don’t waste your time, effort and money here — shop elsewhere.

This is the umbrella company for a dozen or more nurseries, all of which share similar inventories, catalogs, and really horrible customer service and products. A quick check around the Internet shows plenty of people who had the same experiences I had: dead plants, seeds that don’t germinate, customer service that outright lies about shipping dates and anything else when held to task, shipments that trickle in over months or not at all, no tracking provided, refusal to refund money, etc. Here is a partial list of the front companies owned by Plantron, many of them in Bloomington, IL: Burgess Seed Direct Gardening Dutch Gardens Exciting Gardens Farmer Seed and Nursery Four Seasons Nursery Honeycreek Nurseries House of Wesley Inter-State Nurseries Kelly Nurseries Richard Owen Nursery Royal Dutch

These people are pathetic. They claim through Four Season’s Nursery to replace plants that do not arrive alive. They spend more time trying to get out of replacing a plant than it would cost to replace the plant. They just informed me my package was delivered two months ago and to ask the post office and other household members and my neighbors if they have seen it. Are they insane? I still do not know if they are going to send me what I paid for. The prices here are really low, but it is more trouble than it is worth considering the high rate of those that do not survive. If you see something you like in their catalog do an internet search and buy it from a company that has real customer service.
