Starbucks

If you can avoid this place then do so. HANDS DOWN the most miserable Starbucks on the face of the planet. The staff NEVER smiles, is never friendly and the pervasive atmosphere is one of disdain. My advice is. if you don’t like your job… then DON’T come to work. Every other Starbucks in the Bloomington area is run by fast, friendly and appreciative people.
Don’t go here unless you are able to grab your coffee and GO!
Recently while here out of early bird necessity, they had the cold air or air conditioning (whichever it was) mercilessly blasting over the customers whilst it was around 30 degrees outside. I suspect this was so because the STAFF gets warm while working. Well when it was brought to the order taker’s attention she did what I expected and «grimaced» sputtering out nonsense about doors opening and closing. When I insisted the cold air was undeniably blasting from the vents above she begrudgingly offered to inspect the problem and then voila. magically the problem disappeared as quickly as it started. I suspect she knew of the situation all along. And believe me, when here the customer is always wrong and never right.
If anyone has left a positive review it is because the poor souls belong to the gaggle of local yocals who frequent the place due to its proximity to their living arrangements and have no idea that there are star studded Starbucks all over town and everywhere else in the country.

The coffee of course is wonderful. The breakfast sandwiches may be pricey but they are usually fresh and very tasty. This Starbucks is next to McDonald’s and between the two of them there are traffic problems especially drive time weekdays.

Went to Starbucks today and went through the drive through. Usually I get the same thing but I needed something different. Derrick was so helpful and didn’t make me feel like he was annoyed while busy answering my questions. I hardly ever write reviews unless it is exceptionally bad or good. This time I was very pleased. Thank you Derrick!

This is easily the slowest Starbucks in town. Consistently. Every time. I now go out of my way to a different, more efficient location. The. Worst.

Coffee!!!

I’m glad I ignored the other reviewers and came here. This is by far my favorite Starbucks yet (OK– it’s hard to beat Amsterdam’s Starbucks, but definitely the best ever in Indiana!) The service was fast and friendly, drink was prepared perfectly and no one made me feel bad about saying skim milk instead of non-​fat, but more than anything I LOVE the covered porch and outdoor lounge! Free parking too?! Seriously, I just want to move in and work here all the time. Too bad I’m only here for a day.

Slow service inside. They have several people working the drive-​thru and one person working the line for the people who take the time to park their cars and come in.

Love most Starbucks, but this one has the slowest drive thru I’ve ever seen. I’ve never gone inside, but assume it’s like all the others. Pretty small for a standalone.

I’m paying extra for the soy milk, please actually give me some.
Friendly baristas (baristos? baristes?) but my order has been fulfilled incorrectly a few times. And there never seems to be plain croissants at this location.
I dig the location, though.
