Starbucks

I love Starbucks. This one is legit good. The staff is always friendly, they make my order well… though one off thing: they have stopped asking what my name is that I want to have written on drink cups. So instead of waiting for my drink to be made and listening for my name, I have to pay great attention to the type of drink that they are saying is ready… and on at least 3 occasions… the same drink was ordered by someone else ahead of me. Then that uncomfortable moment comes when you realize it’s not *your* drink… uh…but instead, it’s someone else’s drink that just happened to get made before you ordered the very same thing. It’s frustrating, to say the least…
So, other than the odd thing abt them no longer asking people what their name is, so nobody will inadvertently take another person’s drink — I would go here again. Hopefully, they’ll start using people’s names again. And, hey — one other thing I miss abt using my name to get my drink… using a ridiculous alias, lol. It’s fun, and makes the experience far more interesting, and much more personal. Oh well…

Starbucks is a treat — and they never let me down. I had a reward drink today, so I thought I would try the new smoked butterscotch latte. Pretty tasty. Tastes similar to the warm butter beer @ Universal Studios.
The staff is always nice and efficient, too.
The drive-​thru can get crazy, but they try to make it go fast.

Friendly staff, great coffee, the store is kept clean, it gets busy at times and needs more space to accommodate everyone.

The location is great. The service and the food is good. There is plenty of room for seating.
They also have wi — fi.

People are very nice and efficient! Nice location! Nice environment, open and inviting also! Busy busy busy, maybe that’s why some of the tables aren’t getting wiped down.

This starbucks and the other two starbucks in town are constantly busy. It doesn’t matter what time of day you try to visit there will be a drive thru line. They are the best coffee shop on Veterans and they have good locations strategically located by either OSF & the mall or by both the State Farm campuses. It’s no wonder they are busy.
My favorite drink is the soy chai latte. As I mentioned in my tip, if you want the vanilla soy milk, that’s all they serve for soy so don’t ask for vanilla specially I’ve been charged for vanilla when not paying attention.
An additional tip, this parking lot is ridiculous with tight turns and its a one wAy. Bring your patients to this parking lot, you will need it.

Came into this Starbucks during our trip, typical Starbucks experience, however we felt it was worth Unilocaling about the experience we had with this location prior to our trip.
We had never been to Bloomington before and had no idea what to expect of the city. We were attending a graduation in Urbana where all hotels were booked for the weekend. We called this location and asked the person who answered several questions about the area. She was very helpful and assisted us in making our decision to stay there.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to provide us with information about the child hotel from hell that we ended up staying at (see other review).

Love it! I get a white mocha and a slice of lemon cake, good combo.
I like this starbucks, the staff is pretty cool and friendly plus you can sit outside and people watch which I like to do.
My friends and I typically come here during lunch and it can be pretty challenging to find a parking spot. Not very friendly with that aspect, wish they designed the parking better but overall can’t complain.

What is wrong with the coffee here? I’d come here twice in the morning. Get the large pike — no room.
Then, on both occasions — the coffee has an «odor». It smells like a dirty coffee urn or something. I smell it whilst I drive to work, and then again at the workplace. I never experienced this particular problem before at any other Starbucks.
The first morning I went here, I couldn’t get into the parking lot because the drive-​thru was so long — snaking all the way to washington street! Then, after the second visit, and both times weird smelling coffee, I gave up. Now I go to the KK right next door for a *good* cup of joe.

What?! only a 3… blasphemy. Ok, caffeine addict before you leave me the anti-​compliment just hear me out.
When it comes to a «chain» anything one of my standards is consistency. Regardless of the establishment I frequent do you…
1. Have rockstar foam on my latte?
2. Do you get my complicated order right the first time?
3. Are you happy to see me?
When its done right I luuuuuv starbucks. And when its done wrong I frown inside and walk away. I’ll save my fight for another day.
This Starbucks unfortunately was dealt the hand of the most jacked up parking lot ever. As a result if you try to go through the drive up during what bloomington would call rush hour… have fun snaking out onto Washington St.
But parking aside on most days everyone is friendly, the inside atmosphere is inviting and my lattes are just right. This morning I had perfect foam on my vanilla raspberry latte and it made me grin from ear to ear.
Just bring up the consistency and I’ll bring up my rating in flash :-)
