I prefer this Salvation Army over the two Goodwill stores in town. They have one 50% off day per month and after that just their regular, reasonable pricing. You don’t have to deal with colors of the week for discounts, etc. The staff is friendly, and there seems to be enough product rotation that it’s worth stopping by once or twice a week. We once got lucky and walked in just after they stocked a pair of «Incredible Hulk» gloves for $ 1.50. Our 4 year old loved them. You won’t find something awesome every time, but if you enjoy thrift shopping or treasure hunting, it’s a nice little store without the pretense of some other stores(including other Salvation Army stores).

This was the dirtiest store that I’ve ever been in also I know someone who worked there and the man that runs that store holds ALL the nice stuff in the back and when his friend comes in he bring the old stuff out that’s not fair so I decided I will not go back there again and will report this dishonest man to the main office

This is the kind of store that makes thrifting fun but also takes a bit of work to find the types of treasure worth hunting. It’s on N. Rogers are features a friendly staff committed to the mission of the organization. I tend to be more committed to finding interesting threads, books, and random items no matter what zip code I find myself in, but I respect the mission on a macro level. It’s an older store, meaning it hasn’t undergone the wholesale corporation renovation most of the Goodwill stores have been through in the past few years. The clothes are average priced($ 2.99 for men’s shirts and sweaters) and there are plenty of sale items. It’s not well organized store(no size separation, etc) but that’s usually a sign of finding better bargains if you spend the time looking. Happy hunting!
