Hello! I’ve lived at Turnberry Square for over two years now, and I’ve yet to have an issue management or maintenance couldn’t fix. I’m not sure what the other review is talking about. Yes, there was a murder, but it was not gang related, and was an incredibly isolated act. I’m a 22 year old female living alone, and I still felt safe after the fact. In addition, we’ve recently had some cops move in and live in the apartments. If that doesn’t make you feel safer, then I don’t know what does. As for the apartments themselves, I live in a two bedroom apartment, and I personally enjoy the lay-out of the apartment. You won’t find many places who allow pets, have washers and dryers in each apartment, and has a free gym and tanning bed in the main building. The maintanence crew is incredibly kind, and helps out as soon as they’re available, despite there being a small number of people on the crew. I locked myself out around 10 at night, and within ten minutes our maintanence man was there and kindly let me in. As for kids, there are some neighborhood kids that like to play in the grassy lot near the main office. They’re always well-behaved and tend to have a bond with the other kids within the Turnberry Apartments. POTENTIALISSUES: Like I said, I’ve had very few issues that maintanence couldn’t fix or wasn’t willing to. My only complaint is that the blinds are cheaply made. I’ve accidentally torn down two by just opening the blinds, and that’s one thing Turnberry will not replace for free. However, I was probably too aggressive, and similar blinds only cost $ 10 at Walmart. Other than that, I’ve had a great experience and I hope you will too! :)

It’s so tempting to live here. Rent is decent, the pet deposit is reasonable, they offer«free tanning and work out» BUTDON’T DOIT IT’S A TRAP! My boyfriend and I moved into Turnberry Square last May(2014), and our entire year of living there was just a series of miserable happenstances. 1) There was a MURDER in the building next to us. 2) Our ceiling started leaking, and proceeded to mildew & mold until 3 weeks later they punched out a HUGE hole in our ceiling, and then covered the hole with a garbage back for a month in the middle of winter. It was drafty, and continued to mildew, until they patched it about a month after that(Leaving behind a huge mess, as always, of plaster). Then, the day before we moved out, they snuck in without telling us, and re textured the ceiling, leaving wet, ground in plaster in the carpet. 3) A pipe burst in the hallway, flooding ¾ of our apartment. They pulled up the carpet and ran industrial fans for 5 days while we slept surrounded by ALLOURTHINGS in our dining room. They never put the carpet back down right, and they didn’t cover the additional $ 84 dollars their industrial fans running cost us. 4) The landlord blames everything on «corporate» but no one will tell us who corporate is, or how we can file a complaint or file an appeal. 5) Other dogs CONSTANTLY pooped in our yard, and we kept getting threats of fines from the landlord. Our dog is a shih-tzu mix, and the poops in our yard were ABOUT the size of him… yeah… NOT his. 6) Our friend who lived in the building next to us was being stalked by another tenant. She reported it to the police and property management. The stalker would follow her, come bang on her door in the middle of the night screaming and sliding pictures under her door. The police did what they could, but the landlord VOUCHEDFORTHESTALKER and said that«he had a daughter, and would never do that» … well he did. MY friend was so scared, she moved out, terminated her lease early, and was forced to pay an EXORBITANT penalty fee. 7) My car was broken into, and my radio stolen. 8) They offer free tanning and work out… well, the work out room is never open, and tanning is super awkward, in addition to the bed being tiny, terrible, and barely working. 9) The whole place is a scam. They use poor quality materials, and then charge you triple what they’re worth upon move out. Their game is to make money off you, and if you forget that for even a second, you’ll LITERALLY pay the price. –100 on a scale of 1 – 10. Worst living situation of my life.
