I would probably give 3.5 if they had the option… The shop is so cute. It is on a side street so you may miss it if you aren’t intentionally looking for it. Like the name suggests, it has a french theme/décor and it is very feminine. The cupcakes were decorated beautifully and the extra paper enveloping the cupcake was shaped like a flower. Well done on the presentation. We tried the peanut butter cup and the dark chocolate covered strawberry. The others were tempting as well… German chocolate, birthday cake, red velvet, etc. The dark chocolate strawberry cupcake was okay but there was no center and the icing was extremely heavy. In fact it was weighing down the cake so much that it broke the cupcake in half. I love icing but it totally overpowered the cupcake. The icing was strawberry flavored but it wasn’t bursting with flavor. It was just okay. The cake part was rather crumbly and there was nothing«dark» about the chocolate. I could barely taste it. The peanut butter cup cupcake was very very good! Again, the icing was plentiful but for some reason it worked for this one! The peanut butter flavored icing was one of the best I have had. It had had more of the peanut flavor as opposed to sugar. It was excellent. Again, the cake part was decent but nothing special. I will definitely give this shop another try. The price tag hardly seems worth it but considering the location I think it is justified($ 4 a pop).

Daily selection of Creamy delicious cupcakes, I would give 4 stars, but I believe Great sweets like these need to be served with great coffee(cappuccino and espresso), not just pre-packaged coffee, otherwise great place. The Red Velvet cupcake was so very good and the german choclate too, and the birthday cake, OK so as far as cupcakes there was not even a good one, they were all great, had a taste of each, having a big family that shares is so good to have.
