After some what of a search I finally found this place. Located off the street kinda in a back alley it was definitely worth the search!!! Had a slice of apple pie that could only be compared to my grandmas! No joke it really was that good. The place itself had a couple of tables plus a little outside area to eat if that was preferred. Pie tasted excellent with fresh ingredients and the portion was HUGE !! If you are in the area treat yourself to a visit for some of the best desserts ever !!! I will be returning soon !!!

This is a very nice little bakery! We stopped by for dessert after visiting The Village Café, and shared a banana pudding and coffee. This is not your mom’s banana pudding, made with packaged ‘Nilla Wafers. Theirs most definitely uses homemade wafers, and the pudding is so thick and rich, you can eat it with a fork. We thought we’d have some to take back, but once we tasted our first bites, we couldn’t resist eating the whole thing. The staff are very friendly and helpful in choosing your sweet treat. We’ll definitely be back!

We were directed to Ugga Mugga by a store owner in the area, because the cupcake store were were looking for is no longer in business. She raved about Ugga Mugga’s cupcakes, so we were very excited to try them. It was late afternoon on a Saturday, so by the time we got there, there weren’t that many cupcakes to choose from(we took that as a good sign…). The customer service was very good and personable and the initial experience was a very good one(hence the 2 stars instead of 1). The cupcakes were $ 3 each(good price) and 6 for $ 15(great price). Because of the incredible endorsement, we bought 6– the last two chocolate cupcakes, three lemons and one birthday cake flavored. As soon as we got to the car, we tore into our package. The two of us that had lemon, really enjoyed the icing… but when we bit into the cake, we were greatly disappointed! The cake was so dry and crumbly that our bubble was busted and we immediately put our cupcakes away. The same thing happened to the chocolate lovers, only they didn’t even get to experience good icing! We cannot comment on the birthday cake flavor because we have yet to taste it(maybe it will prove otherwise). I’m hoping the only explanation for such disappointing cupcakes is that were made weeks ago and then frozen(if so, then lesson learned, and they will make fresh cupcakes every(or every other) morning). IF they were freshly made, then they really need to learn how to make a moist cupcake! (When I got home, I decided to lather the remainder of my lemon cupcake with butter and pop it in the microwave for 12 seconds to see if I could salvage my investment. It worked just enough for me to think about trying that trick again tomorrow… we’ll see what happens).

We visited today for the first time. The location caught our eye and we found out they’ve been open since June. The owner was onsite and explained she has made cakes for weddings and events for many years. Today we tried a peanut butter truffle, peanut butter bomb cake and Oreo cupcake. Delicious!!! We want to go back for more tomorrow but they are closed Sunday’s and Mondays. We might stay in town until Tuesday just to try some more treats! Definitely stop in and indulge!
