Sorry for the sad news, the County Sheriff came into the restaurant this morning around 930 am. They ordered it closed immediately. All the customers had to leave. I feel for the great employees there. Hoping and praying that they find employment opportunities elsewhere if they want.

It should not take 30min to prepare a burger for me & bfast for my wife… we were the only patrons at 4:00p. I was quite surprised to hear that they’ve been open over 2yrs. 15min max from ticket to table. We rec’d a free slice of apple pie for our complaining. 1star best!

I’d give 0 stars if I could. We didn’t look at reviews because we saw the line at IHOP across the street and figured this couldn’t be so bad. We were wrong and them some. If this is your option, turn back to IHOP and just wait. We waited over 45 minutes before lunch and still didn’t have our food. We heard excuses of the kitchen being backed up and they didn’t have clean dishes. It was a Sunday at 11:30am when we arrived. It’s not like it was a surprise they could be busy? We never were given silverware and had to ask multiple times for things like water or napkins. Finally gave up and asked for our food to go and even that was a process. The bathrooms were disgusting. The tables were so gross. THe place is so out and dated that I agree with the recommendation to just tear down and re-build. You’d think if you were the overflow for IHOP that you’d up your game to get people to come to your first but it looks like they took the route of — we’re the 2nd choice, we have them cornered so we don’t have to do a darn thing. What a mess. I’m so angry we wasted a perfectly nice afternoon there.

This place is disgusting ! Everyone seems so miserable to be there, workers are not very customer friendly. The place is dirty, Me and my boyfriend had to wait till another table left to get salt, pepper, and syrup for our meal because obviously there is enough for every table. The whole place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. I work with food and honestly I don’t even know how they are still open, even the dishes are dingy just like the whole place! I would Never return & I do not recommend this place at all! And btw I gave it One star only because I couldn’t give the place«0» stars.

It was my first time ever eating there. The food was absolutely horrible. To start off we were seated next to a table with a bunch of food and trash on it that was never cleared. After we finished ordering out drinks, it took 15 minutes to get them. Then it came time to order. it took them nearly 30 minutes to get our food. The silverware and napkins on our table were both dirty. The kitchen forgot to give us food too. I strongly recommend going somewhere else to eat.

Tried to go to IHOP but wait was long so went across the street and tried 202 Diner. should have waited at IHop. This place is dated and dirty. Waitress looked like she would rather be anywhere else but here. Not sure what was happening in booth behind us, I believe it was the owners or something but they were talking about the business and had table checks out. I sat and listened and even watched one of them bother a waitress while taking someone’s order. I also heard about a family members life story and all the medical conditions this person was going through. They were extremely loud and had a child watching a tablet that was very loud as well. I won’t be returning, I make a better breakfast for half the cost and with real eggs.

I’m giving this a one star rating because I can’t give it no stars. First, it took us 15 minutes to get our orange juice and coffee. Then, the waitress messef up my order of chocolate chip pancakes, giving me 3 regular pancakes. When we informed the waitress of the mistake she came back with a cup full of chocolate chips instead of more waffles. When she did come back with the chocolate chip waffles, she came back with one less waffle than before and the waffles were stale. They weren’t the worst I’ve ever tasted, but far from the best. As a final thing, instead of properly splitting our order she messed that up. I am not normally one to leave bad reviews, and i wasn’t particularly pleased to have to download an app to write this, but the place wasn’t full and the buffet was getting more service than the customers. My friends and i aren’t going back

The 202 Family Diner is a solid standby. It’s got typical diner fixings like a diner counter and booth seating. Food’s typical diner food, but it comes out in a flash, and is a crazy good value. I enjoyed two eggs sunny-side up with Canadian bacon, white toast(pre-buttered, not melted on), and hash browns, for the princely sum of about $ 8(credit accepted). A glass of OJ sweetened the deal, and my friend got a similar-such meal, minus meat. If you’re feeling indecisive, they’ve got a breakfast buffet for $ 10(less for kids). Nadine served me most recently(and apparently served me years ago, according to my notes!). When my friend wanted strawberry jam, we got some lickety-split. We never felt rushed during our meal, even relaxing awhile afterwards. This diner never closes, so it’s the perfect option for post-drink-fest eateries.

Dark, dated and disgusting. Went in with friends last night… Extremely slow service, our server acted like we were an inconvenience. Our table was sticky… The plates were sticky… Food was disappointing at best… We are still«recovering». I will never go back…

I went here with my buddy late night to get some food. And he was very indifferent about the service. Waitress I feel was screwing around and not paying much attention to customers. Look its 1 – 2 am you deal with drunk people it sucks I get it. But we arent the loud obnoxious type like the next to the right of us which I felt got slightly more service than we did. After multiple tries we get her attention a couple times and got what we needed. The food was good just the service sucked. On top of that when we went to go pay there credit card machine was down or they dont know how to use it and I was standing there watching them screw around with the machine for 5 – 8 minutes. So I finally get my check and provided no tip for such sub par service. I wont return plus im not in the area anyway so whatever. Hire better employees that care more thats all I got to say.

One day my family I went to the diner for breakfast and I saw that they had breakfast buffet and didn’t had a lot of selection of the food. The most disgusting thing is that inside the vents were trash and straws and plastic wraps. I then left with a splitting headache. The place is really dirty.

It tries really hard, but the place is so dated and dingy inside it needs to be gutted completely and redone. I had chicken parm the night I was there. It was ok, not great. Big portions. Only a few other tables so no problem with service. The soups here are always homemade and very good.

Came in on New Year’s Day. Place was filthy and service was atrocious. We waited 45 minutes for a drink order. 90 for food. The food was under cooked, the Orange juice was sour. It’s a shame, I really want to support a small by business but this place has no redeeming qualities. The IHOP across the street is better.

This place is filthy. We sat down at a table near the window. All of the blinds were splattered with ketchup and god knows what else. The bench seats were torn and there was grime in every nook and cranny. There are cracked tiles throughout the restaurant that looked like someone dropped an anvil on them. The bathrooms are an embarrassment. If you don’t mind eating in filth, the service is also terrible. We were greeted at the door by a high school kid wearing a wife beater undershirt, grey sweat pants, and an attitude. He obnoxiously yelled at the bus boy in front of us for forgetting to wipe down the table. The waitress was friendly but unattentive. If we didn’t ask, drinks would not be filled. We asked for ketchup many many times and waited 10 minutes for it. By the time it came, we didn’t want it anymore. If you can get past the filth and grime, the food is not great. My wife’s bacon tasted like hamburger meat,. My guess is that they cooked the bacon at breakfast on an inadequately cleaned stove top from the day before. How else would bacon taste like hamburgers? They have a breakfast buffet for $ 10 on weekends. My old high school cafeteria did it better. This looked straight out a complimentary Motel 6 Continental Breakfast. They had Cheese Wiz in a tray that was congealed and looked like it had been sitting there all week. I’m not even sure why they had Cheese Wiz on a breakfast buffet. There were several empty trays for fruit, eggs, and bacon. The oatmeal was as dried out as sandpaper. All in all, the buffet was obviously stale and ignored by the staff.

My boyfriend and I went here yesterday for lunch. We were on our way to Merry Mead and made a spur of the moment decision to get lunch here while we passed by because we usually enjoy trying different diners etc. When we first walked in the place was a mess and we stood there not knowing if we will be seated or if we should seat ourselves since we were not even greeted. We should have known to leave after that. A moment later a young boy seated us in the back of the diner. After looking at the menu we had ordered an app of buffalo wings and we both ordered a turkey club with mayo and a side cup of mayo in addition. Not too complicated. When our buffalo wings arrived it seemed off. We were served plain breaded chicken wings with a side of sauce. We figured we would just dip them, fine enough. My boyfriend asked for side plates, napkins, and utensils since we were never brought any of those. Server returned with napkins, utensils, and one bowl. Completely bizarre. As we began to eat the plain wings we realized the sauce they gave us was not buffalo, nor was it even hot sauce. It tasted like tomato sauce, almost like spaghetti-o’s to be exact. We ate our plain bland wings as so. Then while we were still eating the wings our clubs arrived. After looking, we found both our clubs arrived without mayo and there was no mayo on the side even though we had asked. I was just looking around while waiting for our sides of mayo to arrived(my boyfriend asked her to bring us sides again) I noticed food all over the floor. It was disgusting. There were slices of bread on the floor with bites missing! The whole floor was a disaster, I felt as though I probably shouldn’t trust my food because what if my food was on the floor in the back?! When we were done eating we had to wait about 20 minutes for our server to reappear so we could ask for the check. When we went up to pay no one asked how our meal was but we decided to ask for the manager. The manager proceeded to make excuses for everything that happened. We were told the floor was filthy because they were extremely busy. We had gone in at about 1:30/2pm and there were only maybe 5 tables at the time and the staff was just sitting at the front bar with their heads resting on the counter. It doesn’t take a lot to make me happy when I go out but this was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever had dining anywhere.

My friend was visiting me and were going out for breakfast on a Saturday at IHOP. We walked in and right out of IHOP due to about 30 people waiting for breakfast. 202 across the street was virtually empty so we decided to go their instead. …and I’m very glad we did. On the door they advertised chocolate-chip pumpkin pancakes and we got them without the chips. They were extremely tasty and perfectly cooked. We both got bacon on the side and even though my friend didn’t specify, she got crispy bacon when she wanted floppy. An employee overheard and gave her floppier bacon, let us keep her crispy side, and didn’t charge us for the extra! Had no problem with service, and got the«huns» that usually come with old-fashioned diners. Décor could use some fixing(ripped seats), but other than that, we had a surprisingly good breakfast! Overhearing, apparently they only had four tables the entire night the Friday before, so hopefully they can still pay their bills and stay.

Place was really well kept but not open for anything other than dessert yet no indication of that. Staff looked at me and walked away while another staff member talked on the phone for 5 minutes. Proceeds to get off the phone, alert me to the work going on in the back which prohibits hot food, then offers dessert… while her entire hand was inside her bra, scratching at something. I politely refused and left. Will not come back. If the owners are reading this, we need a 24⁄7 diner. Please shape up!

I would give the food 4 stars, but my service tonight gets 1! As I sit here finishing my meal, I have had an empty glass since before the food came out. The server dropped off the food and left before I could even ask for a refill. During our meal, the night server came in, and the two of them have been at the counter talking. I can tell you(from their conversation 6 feet away) that our server has been here since 1:30(9 hours ago) and has only made $ 35 in tips. She’s trying to buy a house with her son and can’t make it on these wages. Blah blah blah. Maybe if she refilled people’s drinks, her tips might go up. I usually tip very well, but this visit will be a 15% visit. Also, what diner doesn’t have mustard? This one… There was also plastic in my cheeseburger… maybe from the cheese slice? We will stick with IHOP across the street.
