We anticipated a great meal, since this place was recommended by someone who had been here several times. The pizza(appetizer) came out first and was fine, but we waited, and waited, and waited at least 45 minutes for the rest of the food. The waiter did not seem to care and and was rude. And the food was nothing special for the rest at the table while my eggplant parm was salty and hardly edible. Even if we didn’t have the service problem, it was overpriced for what it is. They did nothing to make up for the excessive wait such as knock off a dessert. Not even a sincere apology or a reason(such as staff walking out or the oven not working).

Extremely disappointing. Overpriced pretentiousness aside, the food was just lousy. We were both very excited going in, but from appetizer through desert was a let down. Don’t waste your time, money, or most importantly your appetite! We had Salumi, gnocchi, cannoli, and torta

Absolutely loved this place. The salad and meal were amazing. A friend says he didn’t like the place. So I was sorta biased when arriving. Found his review of the place silly. Will definitely be going back.

Great food and great service. Was actually quite surprised such a nice restaurant was located here as I must have drove past a thousand times and never noticed it. Service was great and personable and everything we ordered was quite good. I ordered a pasta dish and the person I was with ordered a braised beef dish that he said was delicious. I’ll definitely be back in the future as there were a number of other equally delicious looking things on the menu and the service was just that good.

Wow, one of our new local favorite places. Had heard how good Radice was, and we finally checked it out for ourselves. Seated no problem without a reservation. Décor and atmosphere is white washed wood, very relaxing and bright. Service was very professional and knowledgeable. Ordered 3 small plates, a pasta(homemade gnocchi OMG yum) and an entrée(short ribs). Every dish was delicious, well prepared and beautifully presented. Even the complimentary crusty Italian bread and olive oil were delicious. Homemade pistachio crust cannollis were a perfect end to an unexpectedly excellent spontaneous meal! We will be back, and with friends, for sure!

One of the best restaurants in Blue Bell if not the best. We go there every Wednesday and love it, never had a bad meal there, food is excellent, service is great, and Jojo, the owner runs a tight ship, enjoy good food and a great ambience.

We had a delicious piece of Cod. My wife’s platter included a wonderful piece of well-prepared Skate. I think my sister-in-law had the Hen. Pasta was a very nice second course. Bread is outstanding. We also had soups and salads. I think they have the art of Italian soup down pat. And that’s to say nothing of their tasty pizza. The place is really terrific. I would go here again anytime. In fact we’ve been here many many times. Really a terrific place for dinner before Montgomery county community college theater performances.

Had a excellent dinner outside on a Saturday night. The wedge salad(Corata on the menu) was crisp and delicious. The pizza I had Boscaiola(spinach, garlic, wild mushroom, fontina) was amazing! Food was flavorful, fresh, and pulling hot when served. The staff was friendly and attentive. Fanatic meal! We’ve been here several times and will continue to come back.

This is our fav place in blue bell. Whether we are there with a group of friends, our new born infant or in a date by ourselves I’ve never felt more welcomed and accommodated at another establishment. Then the food! Sausage and peppers, beet salad, osso bucco(if ur lucky enough to be there on a Saturday night!) are MUSTS. Liver is awesome if that’s your thing. Bar man makes a great dirty martini, and don’t forget to chip off some parmigiana off of the giant wheel in front. Great wine list, no negatives other than I wish my stomach was bigger! It can get hot next to the open kitchen with the big oven

This place was great. I live kind of far but someone recommended it to me so my fiancé and I decided to check it out. From the minute we walked in the hostess made us feel so welcome with her smile and greeting and was very polite in seating us at the table we wanted. The food was delicious and the service was great. Server kind of rude when we didn’t order dessert but other than that everything was fantastic! Hostess gave us a great last impression as well and we will definitely be back!

A group of 6 of us went here after work on a weeknight, all of us our first time. We were all craving Italian so this place was perfect. They have soups and salads to choose from and a list of entrees, all roughly $ 20-$ 30 each. They also have tapas which are the bulk of their menu. A wide variety to choose from and I’d say $ 10-$ 18 a piece. They also have personal pizzas that you could probably eat on its own. I ordered two plates… the bucatini pasta and the scallops. Both of which were delicious! The bucatini pasta, in a red tomato sauce, although was a small plate it was a good amount. I ended up taking some home. The scallops were not what I was expecting as they were more like a crab cake but they were so good! Three to a plate. I would definitely consider coming back here again for dinner. Food was fabulous, our waiter was very polite and the atmosphere was really nice.

This place is alright. To start, the host(an older gentleman) was rude and clueless. When he called to confirm the reservation, he was quite dismissive when I asked a couple of questions. And he was also the same when we arrived for our dinner. Once he realized four people walked through the door, he treated the other two folks very well. Then turned around and acted like we were a disruption to his day. Whatever… It got better from there. The place itself has a nice ambiance, although we would have preferred darker décor for Italian. Our server, Ryan, was helpful and attentive. The wine, primitivo, was lovely. We decided on three small plates… The lattuga(lettuce with ricotta and bacon) was ok. Weird that it was warm. The Gorgonzola gnocchi were yummy… Although I’ve had much better. And the pizzette(ricotta, prosciutto, and arugula) was good. I would lay up on the arugula, though. It was overpowering. The dessert was delicious! Drunken ice creams! All in all alright. Just nothing to swoon over. But a decent option for the burbs. We will be back, however, to try some other items… The osso bucco sounded yummy… I just hope that same host is not there.

We went last night on a whim, without reservations at 6:30 and were seated in just a few minutes at one of the last tables and before the 2nd rush. Our choices of small plates were; grilled romaine with smoked mozz, ricotta and prosciutto, pork ribs with cabbage slaw. Lasangnetta and an entrée size Linguini and Meatballs. All had excellent flavor, texture and presentation. For dessert we had Chocolate Hazelnut Tart and Chocolate Espresso Mousse Torte, both excellent. Our server Samantha was excellent, answered all question patiently with a smile, very pleasant and efficient. One key note is that we weren’t rushed. Can’t stand restaurants that plop down your entrée right after your last fork full of your app. Radice did not rush you. There was ample time to enjoy drinks and conversation, and the service was not slow. Perfect timing. The hostess was very pleasant and welcoming, as we sat down, offered to check our coats and after dinner retrieved them quickly, smiling and inquiring how everything was. She welcomed us with a smile and said good night with a smile. Definitely would recommend from the perspective of atmosphere, service and food.

I’ve been to Radice a number of times, but have just recently started to really fall in love with it. My fave seating is actually at the high top bar tables by the window if you have the opportunity. SOITALIAN, I have to say I haven’t had homemade pasta this good since my trip to Italy last summer. Needless to say, you absolutely cannot go wrong with the pasta dishes — all homemade and fresh! My faves are the gnocchi, lasagnetta, and the buccatini. And they all come in perfect, moderate portions so you don’t hate yourself afterward(and have room for dessert). Omg. I can’t even, so I will move on. The 100% pork meatballs are a great starter — so tender and light-, as well as any of the pizzas you can see being made right in front of you in their pizza oven! Even as simple as the margarita is delicious. Finally, their desserts. Oh their desserts. CREMEBRÛLÉE is an absolute necessity… I told our waitress tonight I think it’s the best I can ever remember tasting. The cannoli, raspberry Cabernet sorbet, and gelato are also delicious. I have yet to try the rest but I cannot imagine they would disappoint. Pair it all with their prosecco and you have yourself an incredible evening. Enjoy!

This is an upscale but cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant. They had a great wine selection and the dishes were tasty! Great place to take your family.

This place was excellent. We came in on a Saturday at 7pm with no reservations expecting no availability but the owner/manager set us up at the bar. The service was great, friendly staff who gave great recommendations and most of all amazing food. We will definitely be back.

How does this place only have 3 ½ stars? This is the best and most authentic Italian food I’ve had in the Philadelphia region. Don’t expect the standard Italian restaurant menu of a thousand pasta and pizza choices. The menu is interesting and has alot of options(pasta, pizza, fish, beef, etc). The food is incredible too! I really enjoyed the sardine appetizer and the fish entrée.

Is this as good as it gets in the suburbs? The restaurant itself: décor is tacky and overdone. To top it off, they were BLASTING the cheesiest Italian music I’ve ever heard and just made for a gaudy experience. We had a reservation for 4 at 8:15 on a Saturday night. My husband and I arrived earlier than our friends, so we each grabbed a beer at the bar. The bartender handed us each a glass and then our beers. My hubby and I both immediately remarked how odd it was that he just handed us our glasses and didn’t even attempt to pour it. Not a big deal, but he was not busy and it was simply odd. When our friends arrived, we were promptly seated. As we walked by 2 waiters, the one was loudly complaining to the other about the lousy table he was waiting on. Not an appropriate place to complain about patrons — in the middle of 4 other tables with other diners. Already I knew this was not going to be a good experience. The waitress was pretty dull and the service was no better than what you’d get at a Waffle House. 1 person at our table ordered a glass of wine and the remaining 3 of us ordered Allegash White. The waitress came back to ask what we ordered after she walked away — yup, all 3 of us got the Allegash White. Maybe we should have written it down for her? Then, a bus boy came by to dump(literally) water into our glasses, causing me to duck for cover. Appetizers /salads were nothing noteworthy(although my friend ordered a salad but with no onions and when it arrived, there was a pile if onions right on top). Our party ordered the Osso Bucco(which was good, according to our friend) short ribs(fair) and my friend and I each got the pork chop. Her pork chop was overcooked and mine was a fatty mess that I’m still not sure was even pork, judging by the dark grey meat beneath the rubbery fat. When it came time for dessert, we decided that going to the grocery store down the street to pick up ice cream would be a hell of a lot better of an experience than our dinner, so we asked for the check and got out of there. $ 170 for the worst meal I’ve had in quite some time — almost as hard to swallow as the grey rubbery fat-chop. Craig LaBan gave this place 3 bells??? I find that awfully difficult to believe he came to that conclusion without some heavy-duty bribe $$… Time for a retraction to save your reputation, Mr. LaBan.
