Family stayed at the Reid Ridge Lodge and we went over for Smores at the fire pit. They were very pleased. The rooms were clean and recently renovated in a rustic style. Candice at the front desk was very helpful, building a fire and providing the ingredients for the Smores.

What a wonderful little hotel/Lodge I am in town to get married(elope) to my Fiancée before he leaves for Korea for a year. He is on recruitment duty for the week so we have to work around that, and we wanted some privacy and decided not to stay at his parents house. I’m very particular when it comes to hotels. Every little thing makes a huge impression on me. So I’m so pleased at the little gem of a hotel. Clean, quiet, welcoming, affordable… The room was so cute and romantic. I’m just thrilled! It’s made this trip so comfortable, relaxing and romantic for us. Thank you! Reid Ridge Lodge!

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children under 12. We have been frequenting Blue Ridge for the past 10 years. This recent trip was a pass thru on our way home from Asheville area over the holidays. We typically rent a cabin for a week or two when we vacation in Blue Ridge. Obviously a one night stop calls for a hotel. There are limited hotels in Blue Ridge and certainly no Marriott’s as we are use to staying at. We decided to reserve a room at Ried Ridge and were so happy with our stay. This is a small hotel that use to be a Ramada over the years. It’s been converted and fully renovated into a family operated business with a log cabin feel. Megan at the front desk was wonderful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet and safe. A Free Continental breakfast was provided and a late checkout up to 2pm was available if wanted. I was very impressed with the quaint feel of the hotel and would certainly recommend Reid Ridge Lodge. If it wasn’t raining, we would have taken advantage of the cool fire pit area.

Was in town for a weekend and stayed here. I wasn’t familiar with it and was a little concerned but most other«nice» places were booked. Reid Ridge is an updated and converted former Days Inn or something along those lines. They did a nice job and I would say the rooms are rustic-modern…is that a style? Everything about the rooms has been updated and they put stylish knotty pine boards on all the walls. I know, that sounds like an oxymoron but it’s true. Go to their website and look at a few pictures to see what I mean. The room was quiet and the bed was comfy. I read some reviews on other sites that raved about this place and I thought they seemed a little over-the-top. It’s a solid 3-stars for the area but is more expensive then some of the other close-in-quality options.
