Great bar, I’ve been a local for quite some time. Friendly staff, good specials and great food. Come join the party!

We went this weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. Service, bartenders, drinks and food were awesome. Everything but the dj. The DJ was an older guy that decided what song u could sing. He refused certain songs and was very unprofessional about the whole thing. Kinda immature for an old man. Very unreasonable. Would have been great had it not been for him. Once hes gone this place would definitely be 5 stars in my book.

Can’t speak highly enough about Mark, the owner ~ great dude!!! Bartenders are polite, attentive and easy on the eyes. The food and drink are fabulous and reasonably priced. It used to be our regular stomp. We’d amass a group of friends for the Karaōke and enjoy an eclectic mix of young and old folks with diverse and entertaining tastes in music… The Karaōke guy was ok, as long as you didn’t make the mistake of singing any Elvis tunes ~ as he fancies himself a half-assed Elvis impersonator. The guy knows his sound board. When HE sings? His sound is flawless ~ full, dynamic and perfectly mixed. YOU insist on singing Elvis when he’s asked you to sing something else? YOUR sound is flat, hollow and you can’t wait for the song to end. Lesson learned ~ we began scoping out less hostile venues… When we checked back in after a year or so, to see if perhaps the Elvis guy had quit, died or gotten fired, the bar had expanded. New pool tables, dart boards and an all-together different demographic. Now, instead of listening to some hip oldster crooning out Frank Sinatra or Roy Orbison, you’ve got the hip-hop, rap-crap $#!T bags, or some inebriated dude screaming so loud into the mic, you literally have to cover your ears to avoid sustaining injury. And like a bad fart, the Elvis dude was still lingering… If you’re a «20 or 30-Something,» looking to get your drunk on, this is your place!!! If you’re over 40 ~ looking for«laid back» and«family friendly,» you’re about 2-years too late. When Elvis has left the building and an easier going demographic has returned, so will we!!! Much love and luck to Mark and the staff!!!

Food is ehhh. But the entertainment of watching middle aged semi professionals imbibe and practice their previously hidden talents of signing karaōke is well worth it.

Very nice folks running the joint. Came here for the $ 1 taco night on Thursdays. Tacos were pretty good, definitely worth the $ 1 price. Haven’t spent any time hanging out here, just come for the food since I work nights and their kitchen is open pretty late.

Can’t say enough great things! Went to watch a game. The service was fast and very friendly. The food was great and the waitress checked on us through out the game. Best of all, I forgot my purse, and they found it and kept it safe for me. Great atmosphere, food, TV and honest wonderful servers! Love it!

f you show up at Edge of Town(ET’s as the regulars call it) around happy hour you will find the bar lined with folks who all know each other’s names. If you show up around that Happy Hour more than two or three times, everyone will know yours as well — especially the bartenders and wait staff. FOOD But, ET’s is much more than a bar. It’s a great restaurant as well. Offering nightly specials such as prime rib(quite frankly the best I’ve had in KC) and crab legs and various chefs’ specials, salads and steaks, it is not all typical«bar food.» However, for those who need to nosh on grease and cheese while partaking in adult beverages, no worries, they have all the fried goodies too. From mushrooms and wings to mozzarella sticks and cheese fries, they’ve got you covered. On the menu you will also find juicy burgers, Philly cheese steaks as well as loaded nachos(served with homemade salsa that’s top notch) and my personal favorite, the prime rib sandwich — just to name a few. And, if Tacos are your thing, Thursday night is 85 cent Taco Night and the tacos are«freakin’ delicious.» No matter what, you will always find something that’s a step above and the prices are definitely fair. DRINK It is a bar so let’s talk drinks! The drink menu is endless and seasonal beers are always available. The bartenders are knowledgeable and will shake and mix just about anything you want. If you order it more than once, they are not likely to forget. If shots are your thing, late in the evening a friendly shot girl is likely to be on the prowl. ET’s is notorious for keeping the same core staff for years and years and they take much pride in what they do. FUN Entertainment for everyone; Karaōke and live bands will entertain you while you spin around the dance floor. Or if you’re in to games ET’s has free Texas Hold ‘em most nights, Golden T, pool tables and with the knew remodel and expansion I won’t even guess how many state of the art dart boards line the walls. Also, the restrooms and back bar area are chalkboards and chalk is available for your writing pleasure! If you’re like me, you can enjoy people watching and good music from any seat in the house. Country, Rock, Pop and more. .. you never know what you’ll hear(but the juke box has anything you want) or who you’ll see. ET’s has a very diverse customer base which gives it part of his charm. EDGEEXTRAS A few final things: ET’s has proven to be a great place for large groups. They have large group seating and take reservations for parties. The walls are lined with TV’s so you won’t miss your favorite game here. In my experience, if they’re not showing what you want — just ask! Out of respect for those who prefer a smoke-free environment, ET’s is not. In Blue Springs, some establishments are still permitted to allow smoking and ET’s is one of them. Having said that, if you are a smoker I suppose it’s a bonus. In the case you are wondering, I don’t work for, nor am I related to, anyone at the Edge of Town — I’m just another satisfied patron and resident of Blue Springs and I’m always a sucker for seeing locally owned businesses flourish. Photos coming soon.

This place is the sh*t great nightly specials and awesome tacos on Thursdays for $ 0.85 and some of the best prime rib in blue springs. Some of the best bartenders I have ever had Abby and Ozzie, david, james, jesse, Kelly during the day and sandy on Saturdays and some great waitresses crystal, keller, katelyn, ashley just a friendly staff all around Kareoke on Tuesday’s Fridays and Saturday’s. I just say you know it’s a fun bar when the staff always hangs out when there not working

I’m sooooooooo very glad we found this place! Great prices, fun people and fantastic food! The bartenders are VERY generous with the alcohol. If you don’t like your drinks strong, order a beer. The food. Wow. Never had a bad meal yet. My favorite: prime rib open faced sandwich. Ok– so not really a sandwich, but a GIANT piece of perfectly seasoned prime rib on a slice of texas toast with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy for $ 9.95! You have to see(and eat) it to believe it. Lots of tvs, We never miss a game we want to watch. Darts, darts and more darts, pool and free poker tourneys Sunday through Thursday(call for times). We’re not karaōke people, but they have that too. Check it out! See you there.

What an odd, odd little bar! I came here for a girlfriend’s birthday, and despite worrying that it’d be a po-dunk little place, it exceeded my expectations. To me, a good bar means good drinks, excellent people watching, and some sort of entertainment. Thankfully, Edge of Town had all of these, and more! Their drinks were very fairly priced and well mixed, the crowd was from all age groups and backgrounds, and there was karaōke and other varieties of entertainment for all people. It was the kind of place you could just kick back, sip your drink(s), and forget that you were in the suburbs of Kansas City. While I don’t frequent the Edge of Town often, it’s the kind of relaxed bar that I secretly wish KC had more of.

One of my favorite neighborhood bars. Always has a great crowd from all different walks of life that come together to share the good drink prices and enthusiastic staff. In fact the staff always seem to be happy and must enjoy their job, their genuine excitement is infectious and always makes for a fun night. They have karaōke on Friday and Saturday as well as some weekdays, and being a person who pretends to be a good singer I could not ask for anything more. As I said before the drink prices are great and when ordering mixed drinks the bartender does not hold back(not sure if that’s good or bad… on second thought its good). The owner Mark is very personable and always makes his way around the bar to see if everything is satisfactory. He also owns a 3am bar in Grain Valley called Long Shots and… wait for it… they offer a bus service that will drive u their at 1:30am if you still want to party. Now that is service, I would recommend this bar to everyone. My only complaint, and this may sound petty, is that it is a tad bit dark, but hey who doesn’t look good under limited light.

The location is a little odd, it doesn’t not look at all like the type of place where a bar should be located. Yet, here is it. We were all carded here despite being a group of people whose ages ranged from mid-30s to 40. Once we met with the bartender’s approval, we nestled in for a few drinks in this comfortable restaurant/bar. I haven’t tried the food, but a glance at the menu shows it to be a steop or two up from traditional bar food. There’s pool tables, darts, video games, karaōke every weekend, and poker tournaments throughout the rest of the week. Overall, this seems a pretty fun place to hang out. One oddity — while the women’s restroom is conveniently located, men have to physically leave the bar. The men’s restroom is outside the bar’s main entrance.
