Great customer service and friendly atmosphere! First time there and an awesome variety to select from… fresh fruit was amazing too!

We went in during the play off game. Everyone in there was extremely accommodating. You just can’t go to a place and get good customer service and good food. This place you get both. My granddaughter wanted French fries and they didn’t have it. The owner told me he would make them if I wanted. Very nice place. I would recommend this place to anybody. O yeah… have to try the fish.

Well I’m sold. I came to a buffet during off hours(oh no!) But I was shocked at my 10:30am venture. Everything was stocked pretty well. The greater and waitress were very nice, I simply told them it was my first time and I even met the owner who came to talk to me. Now the food, I started w french toast(4⁄5) bacon(5⁄5 thick cut!) Sausages(4.5÷5 weren’t brown shade I’m use to but… wow that taste) country fried steak and gravy(4⁄5 pretty good) and finally I tried an omelette. I will say I was pretty shaky based on other reviews but it was amazing. I did a mushroom onion green pepper sausage cheese on top with salsa and sour cream. I haven’t lived in blue springs for too long but I have eaten at all the other franchised chains around here and this place kills them. From friendly service and CLEAN store to good gravy unlike that big biscuit nasty gravy I tried last week. I would come back and I’d bring everyone I know aswell IF they could insure the same experience next time

This review is over due and maybe they have worked out some of the kinks since my last visit a month ago, but my two experiences here were both disappointing. The food tastes frozen and reheated for the most part. Both times I got one pancake that was fresh, fluffy and delicious and then another that was a hockey puck. The second time we were there no one told us about the made to order items that are included in the buffet price. I knew about it from our first visit. I believe those items are crepes, eggs any way you want them, and carved ham. The fried chicken isn’t bad but the rest of the non breakfast items I tried were over cooked and either too salty or completely underseasoned. The frozen tamales wrapped in plastic wrap with no sauce to accompany them is baffling. They were dried out and not with eating again anyway. As alwsys, I’ll keep my eyes and ears peeled for improved reviews. I really want to see them succeed and hope they take heed of the reviews. Blue Springs could really benefit from a place like this. The concept is great.

Great expectations = major letdown. I was very much looking forward to brunch with family and friends. They were raving about this new restaurant in Blue Springs which serves breakfast all day and boasted a tasty buffet of homestyle menu items. I generally don’t get excited about buffets, in fact, I avoid them… but I had heard such great reviews! Alas, it just wasn’t meant to be but there is potential. First, the positives: 1. Although they don’t tell you upfront, they do offer cooked to order omelets, crepes, eggs, pancakes, and waffles. There was a small table sign across the room and I didn’t see it before I plated food from the buffet line. 2. Unlike many buffets, there is a server who will actually refill your drinks! Also, he was very kind. 3. REAL ice cream to be scooped by hand! Wahoo! 4. I’m a biscuits and gravy snob and these were pretty okay! 5. Although I didn’t actually try any of the lunch/dinner buffet items, others in my party did and seemed pleased with the food. Reasons why I’m not sure I’ll go back: 1. The scrambled eggs and country potatoes were dried out from sitting under the lamps, seriously, REALLY dried out. Eggs were refilled about 30 mins after we arrived and they looked good. Wish I had waited. 2. There might have been 3 pieces of bacon broken up in little pieces in the bottom of the bacon tray. Again, about 30 minutes to be filled again and what came was very thin. 3. When they refreshed the country potatoes(right before we left), the potatoes were extremely under-cooked and the onions and peppers were raw, as if left to cook under the lamps. When I tried to cut a potato with the serving utensil, it was too raw and hard. 4. I could not locate any juice anywhere. Another group of people appeared to have found juice or perhaps it was special order as well. No clue. 5. There was coffee which I had to drink from a soup cup because there were no clean coffee cups and there were literally four creamer cups available for the entire restaurant. Needless to say, I only had one«cup» of coffee. 6. We paid $ 30+ for three people at this location. There probably should be a «brunch/lunch» price set a bit lower than a dinner buffet price. It seems like a bit high especially when factoring in the above concerns. With a few modifications to the layout and improvements in refreshing food items, this restaurant has great potential. Make it easy for patrons to find what they need. Maybe offer a bit of information at the register as it’s a prepaid buffet. We arrived on a Saturday around 12:30pm which would be appropriate to enjoy a brunch or lunch with friends. There is hope for this venue if they can get the bugs worked out quick. With less than ten people present on a Saturday at lunch rush, I’m fearful it might already be too late for this restaurant.

It was above expectations. Although business was slow, the buffet food was fresh. Staff is quite good, and polite. They will also fix anything you want back in the kitchen, all for the same buffet price! For seniors, the price is $ 6.99 including drink and dessert. About half of major buffets. Very pleased. Need more business though!

Came here because the power went out at home. Breakfast is served all day. Which is great because they have crepes, waffles, and omelets. Their breakfast selection is decent, but average: Eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon; but their made to order items are where they really shine. My omelette was piping hot and stuffed full of sausage, mushrooms, spinach, and cheese. The crepes were delightful: light, fluffy, and topped with very glaze. And the waffle, so delicious. Crispy on the outside, and fluffy oh the inside; topped with strawberries and wiped cream. They also have a parfait bar, something you don’t really see at a buffet. It had different kinds of yogurt, granola, and a multitude of toppings. I will definitely be coming back again, if anything for the made to order affair.

Not worth driving from KC. The fresh made omelet te was so greasy I could only eat a couple bites. I am always looking for new breakfast spots but this will not be one. Very limited selection. The only redeeming thing was my server. Bacon and sausage swam in grease. I would rather go to Golden Corral and I don’t like GC either.

Not happy at all. I, like another reviewer, believe in supporting home town businesses and wish them all the luck in the world but. .. The food was barely warm and poor quality. You can order 3 or 4 items that are not on the buffet(they are include in the price of the buffet). We ordered the«carved ham.» 15 minutes later we had still not received it even though 2 or 3 of the waitress kept telling us it would be just a minute — they were grilling it for us. There were only about 6 other people there are the time we were so it wasn’t a matter of having a lot of people to tend to. We finally decided to leave without getting the ham. The owner asked how everything was to which we told him the food was cold to which he replied, «Oh.» We also told him about the ham issue to which he said, «I’m sorry.» We paid $ 20 plus some change for 2 buffet meals. A bit pricy for the selection and quality of the food on the buffet tables. They also had lunch items on the buffet at 8:30 in the morning. I would be worried about the safety of the food which sat out on the buffet for any length of time, especially luncheon items at 8:30AM.

We always look forward to supporting local businesses. However we had a very disappointing experience when we visited this restaurant. The greeting from the teenage cashier was less than welcoming. The style of this restaurant is completely buffet style with a few menu items made to order. We visited in the morning for breakfast and the selection of items is limited and many items from the bacon to the McDonald’s type of hash browns were empty and when refilled there was not enough for those waiting. We found there to be a lot of table space but several needed wiped down. The overall quality of the buffet food was poor. It seemed more like store bought items put in a buffet pan. The made to order items were very good. We received good service from the waitress. Disappointing for us but hopefully others will have a different experience. We will not be back.

Not my cup of tea. Although I didn’t take advantage of the offer, I did like the option of being able to special order omelets or waffles. The food was mediocre at best. Service was very good but I won’t be back.
