This is our go-to place to buy the kids the video games they are always asking for… and I mean ALWAYS. This store sells the new releases and the game systems themselves. In addition, they buy and sell used games as well. This is what brings us in. We don’t sell any old ones because they are usually scratched. My little ones tend to leave the games out of the case and left on the floor. They get pushed around or stepped on and ka-put…they don’t work anymore. Enter GameStop. The other day we bought three used PS2 games for a grand total of twenty bucks. They even had a small bin at the checkout counter with games for .99 cents. We scored a basketball game for my three year old and he was happy. That’s what it’s all about, right? Another plus is that they offer a limited warranty. I’m not sure how long the warranty is but as long as you present your receipt and it”s within the warranty time frame, they’ll replace it for free. We have purchased used games that didn’t work when we got them home but they were replaced, no questions asked. A bit of an inconvenience but nice bonus. This store is a great spot to get cheap, used games or brand new releases should you so desire. Until my boys are older or unless it’s a gift for a holiday or birthday, used is the way we will go.
